Among them, the research of network new media is the combination of culture and technology, while the cultural industry embodies the combination of culture and economy. A series of achievements have been made in network literature and new media culture, and excellent teaching teams in Hunan Province and two provincial-level excellent courses have been obtained. In the field of cultural industry, it mainly studies the brand building of China's cultural industry, which has a wide influence in politics, industry and academia and won many vertical and horizontal research topics for the discipline. Governments at all levels regard our cultural brand survey data as an important basis for administrative decision-making and planning. Every year, when Hunan Province organizes a delegation to participate in the Shenzhen Cultural Fair, it voluntarily publishes our cultural brand as one of the exhibition activities in Hunan Province.

There are not many people in the College of Liberal Arts, and they are very United. They are good at teamwork and collaborative research. We focus on the construction of doctoral programs and bases, concentrate scattered scientific research forces, and form a joint force in the whole hospital. It has successively established the network literature research base of Hunan Province, the cultural industry brand research base of Central South University, and the literature creation and dissemination base. He has published series of online literature professors, series of new horizons of online literature, series of literary frontiers, and series of new media literature, and published a series of special papers in more than 20 important academic journals in the form of columns. This kind of scientific research group's practice of creating fist products and series of works is easy to have a national impact; At the same time, through cooperative research, young teachers have found the direction of scientific research and obtained the opportunity to publish their achievements.

Facing the sea, spring blossoms; The development of liberal arts has a long way to go. Compared with other brother colleges, the gap between liberal arts colleges and universities is still very large. At the same time, we also realize that the construction of liberal arts college plays an irreplaceable role in changing the cultural ecology and discipline ecology of Central South University.
