First, the analysis and improvement of environmental protection problems in construction projects

With the scale of construction projects increasing year by year, environmental protection in construction projects has been paid more and more attention by project management departments. Due to insufficient attention to environmental protection management in construction projects, environmental protection problems in the process of construction projects have affected quality and basic management. This paper briefly analyzes the present situation of environmental protection of construction projects and some specific problems, and puts forward some rational thinking on this basis for colleagues' reference.

Construction projects occupy a very important position in China's social and economic development, so the growing construction projects must realize the strategic idea of sustainable development if they want to maintain long-term development. Facing the highly prominent situation of resources and environmental protection, environmental protection, resource consumption, construction waste generation and recycling in construction projects have become the basic management projects in construction projects. Therefore, in order to realize the long-span and long-term development of construction projects, we must clearly understand the importance of environmental protection and the practical significance of improving these problems. Only by fundamentally controlling these problems, perfecting the management mechanism and studying and formulating corresponding measures can the long-term development of construction projects be guaranteed. Let me briefly talk about a few points.

First, the status quo of environmental protection in construction projects

Building construction is the most common building method in China's economic construction, and its function and scale are becoming more and more representative. Therefore, the environmental protection problems in the construction of building projects are gradually exposed during the construction. Due to the poor environmental awareness of all construction units, they pay insufficient attention to the environmental protection problems brought by the construction, or even turn a blind eye to them, which leads to the destruction of the ecological balance during the construction process and seriously affects the advanced construction concept and the basic management of engineering construction. With the launch of a large number of construction projects, construction waste has been produced accordingly. Although the consumption of building materials is unconscious, due to the lack of understanding of environmental protection and energy issues, the consumption of construction waste and building materials has also become an important issue in construction engineering and quality management. At present, 72.3% of domestic construction projects are more or less resource-consuming. Among them, 85% of construction waste can not be properly disposed of and reused, which seriously affects the production and life of urban and rural residents; Another 38% of the construction units did not take any measures to solve the problems caused by construction waste. From this, we must see the urgency of controlling environmental problems in civil engineering, effectively improving resource consumption and creating an ecological construction environment.

Second, the main environmental problems existing in the project construction

1) Construction noise is a serious public hazard. At present, most construction projects are located in cities or urban-rural fringe, and the remarkable feature of similar locations is that residents are relatively concentrated. From the "people-oriented" point of view, noise has an impact on the lives of residents and people working on the construction site, especially at night. According to statistics, in 2004, more than 2,000 construction enterprises in China complained about noise.

2) Construction waste brings security risks. In the construction of construction projects, the generation of construction waste begins with the demolition of the project, and then the construction begins. The consumption of raw materials also produces a large amount of construction waste. Especially in the construction, due to improper management of construction waste, not only the available construction waste is not reasonably utilized, but also the construction waste is not cleared in time, which brings serious security risks to the construction of civil construction projects to a certain extent.

3) Poor awareness of environmental protection increases the construction cost. No matter what the project is, safety management is very important, and quality management is also very important, but the most important management should be the cost of the project. Insufficient understanding of environmental protection issues, long-term neglect of the transfer and cleaning of construction waste. In addition, the control of toxic raw materials in construction is not strict, on the one hand, the consumption of raw materials is too large, on the other hand, the leakage and unreasonable use of raw materials lead to environmental pollution. When dealing with these remaining problems, the construction cost will also increase.

4) Emission reduction technology cannot be applied scientifically. In building engineering, effective emission reduction technology is one of the important measures to ensure the construction environment protection. Many construction units don't know and master modern scientific emission reduction technology enough, and some even lack professional management, so they can't do a good job of emission reduction in actual construction, which has a great negative impact on the construction of the project.

5) Lack of protection of ecological environment. What can't be ignored is the protection of green space in construction. Some construction projects started too fast, and the greening project planning was unreasonable. It is often destroyed first and then rebuilt, which destroys the environmental and ecological balance of the project itself and takes a long time to rebuild. In the construction, effective protection measures cannot be taken for the undamaged environment. There is no doubt that investment in environmental management has increased in the whole construction project.

Three, some thoughts on improving environmental protection in building engineering.

In order to improve the environmental protection problems in construction projects and prevent the pollution, construction noise, object discharge and construction waste caused by construction on the construction site from affecting the construction quality and safety management of the project, I think it is necessary to comprehensively control the above problems and improve the environment to ensure the smooth progress of the project construction.

1) Strengthen environmental protection management and promote comprehensive management of construction projects. Environmental protection management seems to have no practical significance, or it can't be immediate, but safety accidents caused by insufficient attention to environmental protection problems are common in construction. Environmental protection in construction projects is no longer a simple technical management and technical treatment. It has been extended to safety management and quality management of construction projects. In this regard, strengthening the environmental protection work of construction projects, effectively organizing a high degree of responsibility and implementing it to people are the fundamental ways to strengthen management.

2) Strengthen the construction of facilities to prevent environmental pollution during operation.

In the construction of construction projects, the phenomenon of environmental pollution is mainly reflected in the improvement and construction of emission reduction facilities, logistics transportation channels, power facilities, parking places for transportation tools and storage places for working tools. In particular, dangerous and polluting facilities should be strictly controlled to control the spread of pollution from the inside to the outside of the construction site from the source.

3) Strengthen the treatment and reuse of waste materials.

For demolished construction waste and building materials under construction, attention should be paid to management and proper disposal in project management. Reasonable and scientific transformation of waste materials that may be converted into cost infrastructure and materials can not only save the project cost, but also make better use of construction waste, save the necessary environmental protection disposal, and virtually save the construction time.

4) Strengthen the environmental protection knowledge training of construction personnel.

All operators should be trained in environmental protection, and in actual operation, the concept of environmental protection should be highly integrated into actual operation. In particular, the green space and ecological environment that may be destroyed during the project construction should be protected as much as possible and avoided in time according to the drawings. For the reconstruction of green space in engineering construction, it should be practical and not blindly follow the wind to plant blind trees, which will lead to ecological imbalance. Cultivate all employees' environmental awareness and high sense of responsibility, set up special institutions to deal with environmental problems in construction in time, and conduct research to solve environmental problems in construction from the inside.

5) Effectively control the project input cost.

Strengthen the cost management and investment of engineering construction, increase the environmental protection budget, and ensure that environmental protection problems are not ignored or not solved because of capital investment, otherwise it will only increase the engineering cost to a certain extent and leave hidden dangers for the engineering quality.

Fourth, specific measures.

1) realize the treatment and resource transformation of construction waste, so that the construction waste that may have an impact on environmental protection can be properly treated and reused reasonably and scientifically.

2) Harden and afforest the construction site, and sprinkle water frequently to reduce dust pollution.

3) When there is dust, it should be closed as far as possible.

4) Construction scaffolding should be closed to prevent leakage of pollutants.

5) It is forbidden to throw garbage outside the building, and there are special personnel to clean the transport vehicles to ensure that the environment and roads are not polluted during the operation.

6) Strengthen noise control measures in buildings. First, low noise technology and construction methods are adopted; Second, it is necessary to establish a regular noise monitoring system, find the noise, find the reason immediately, and rectify it in time; Third, in the process of construction, if the noise exceeds the standard, it should be reported to the local administrative department and the construction will continue after approval.

7) Do a good job in the construction of drainage facilities, comprehensively rectify the on-site roads, and ensure the smooth flow of engineering wastewater. The drainage ditch with obvious slope should be built on the construction site, and the open ditch should be covered with steel plates and marked.

8) Strengthen the protection and transformation of green space.

Building environmental protection is not a new topic. Today, with the vigorous development of the construction industry, our professionals should proceed from reality, formulate reasonable solutions, effectively solve the environmental protection problems in construction projects, and make their own contributions to promoting social civilization and progress.
