The process of doing research? Do I have to set up a project before publishing a paper? Are previous publications useful?
Previously published papers can't be used for the conclusion of the topic.

The process of scientific research:

Step one: bring up the topic.

Step 2: Editing and novelty retrieval of theme materials (application, feasibility report, novelty retrieval power of attorney).

Step 3: Send the novelty retrieval materials to the county science and technology bureau for seal.

Step 4: Submit the novelty retrieval materials to the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau for signature, and sign a contract.

Step 5: Prepare materials to summarize the problem.

This is the general process.
