Records of participation in community activities
Soon, the one-month community service activities of clinical medical college will be over. I not only participated in this activity, but also was mainly responsible for organizing students to participate. In the whole service process, in the process of organizing planning and participating in implementation, I learned a lot of knowledge that books can't learn, and my organizational ability has also been improved to a certain extent. It was the teacher who informed me to be responsible for the community service of this summer social practice. If I have never experienced such an activity, I am worried about whether I can organize it well. Later, I learned that the community health service center will arrange activities specifically, and my main task is only to organize students to participate in activities. This relieved me a lot and I thought it would be simple, but it turned out that my idea was wrong. I found that this is far from being as simple as I thought. Because the stage of calling on students to participate is just when the final exam is coming, the double pressure of exams and taking time to sort out makes the work progress very unsatisfactory, and many students are unwilling to be distracted at this time, so it is difficult to find students who are willing to participate. Finally, it took a lot of effort to seize the opportunity of a meeting and gather enough students. Not only that, but I also encountered many problems when I contacted Mr. Fang, who is in charge of specific activities, to arrange my work. For example, because I have never participated in community service activities, I don't know the specific process of the activities, and my classmates can't say clearly when they ask. Everyone is not clear about the specific schedule, whether there is a car to and from the community, and other details. Still have to understand one by one, after understanding, we can explain it to the students, so that the students can really understand this activity and let them be willing to participate and sign up. Perhaps, I can accurately summarize my feelings at that time with a sentence from Teacher Fang. "It is not easy to do anything well." This may be the first deep feeling I got when I participated in this activity. Of course, the most direct gain from participating in community service is to learn and practice the method of measuring blood pressure, to get in touch with and experience community medicine and general practice in advance, and to have some understanding of some related knowledge about consultation to be learned next semester. With these experiences, we can learn faster, feel more real and make full use of what we have learned in the future. In fact, the process of establishing health records and consultation overlap, which makes us feel some effective communication methods and find some infeasible methods, which can play a very important role in our future study. The establishment of health records mainly involves asking residents about their personal history, past history and family history, which is consistent with the contents of diagnostics and has the same requirements, so we have the opportunity to study and practice in advance. In the activity, everyone tries their best to get the most satisfactory result. Speaking of communication, I also have some new experiences on the doctor-patient relationship. Last semester, I wrote some thoughts on the relationship between doctors and patients in my paper Introduction to Clinical Medicine. One of them said that to improve the tension between doctors and patients, doctors should strengthen their self-cultivation and pay attention to cultivating good communication skills with patients. After two weeks of community service, I realized the importance of this point more deeply, and I also realized that it is really not an easy task to do it well. On the first day of training, the teacher repeatedly emphasized this aspect. When we go to the community, we have direct contact with the residents. In their view, we are West China Hospital, and our image is the image of West China Hospital. Be sure to pay attention to the methods of communication with community residents, be polite to others and never contradict them. From this we can see the importance of good communication. After I really went to the community and got in touch with the community residents, I found that good communication is really not as simple as I said. There are all kinds of residents who come here to file files, including men and women, old and young, from highly educated to completely illiterate. For the elderly, especially those with low education, it can be emphasized that it is free for us to file files for them; For people with high cultural quality, we can highlight the benefits and convenience we can bring to their health and life by filing files for them; We can also start by caring about their physical condition ... there are many ways to communicate. However, this does not mean that we think we are helping the residents, and they will certainly understand our approach. Sometimes, they will keep repeating questions that have little to do with our filing, which often makes us feel impatient. Even, they may not support our work and make us unhappy. However, you must never have a hard time with them. You must be patient and have in-depth exchanges with them. However, imagine that if we are not students now, but outpatient doctors who have been working for a long time, and there are many patients waiting outside the door, we don't know when our work will be completed. How patient are you to wait for him to "nag"? If the control is not good, you may raise your voice and make trouble with each other. How can we have good communication and good doctor-patient relationship? Therefore, from the perspective of bystanders, as long as doctors and patients communicate well, the medical level can be greatly improved.
