As the saying goes, three sentences cannot be separated from lines. I stand here today, but I still want to talk to you about some feelings of learning computer knowledge. What I want to talk about is not the feeling of reading a book alone, but the enlightenment and feeling I got from learning computer books through practice from 1998 to now.
1April 1998, I bought a computer with WINDOWS95 as the operating system. At that time, WINDOWS98 had not been released. At that time, many computers used DOS system and WINDOWS3. Several versions of the system. The first computer book I read at that time was Introduction and Improvement of DOS622, which was an operating system with only white characters on the display. All operations rely on the keyboard to input commands, and use the Enter key to execute commands. Since then, I have read as many as 15 books about the operating system. In other words, since the birth of personal computers, Microsoft has released 15 different versions of the operating system. By reviewing the books I have studied, I suddenly found that from the release of WINDOWS98 in June of 1998 to 2003, Microsoft also released six sets of operating systems. Because of my interest in computer and the prospect of computer application, I didn't stay in the study of software and operating system, but paid attention to the study of hardware knowledge at the same time. I also found that when the 1998 486 computer was widely used, I was equipped with a 586 entry-level computer, which is a Pentium computer. From 8086 to 286, 386, 486, 586, Ben 2, Ben 3, and now Ben 4, computers have experienced a qualitative leap of eight generations. Judging from the first batch of computers deployed in the history of our branch, the INTER frequency of the CPU of IBM brand machine was 75Mhz at that time, while the frequency of Ben 4 2.0G CPU currently deployed was 2000Mhz. If we don't talk about their essential differences, we can calculate according to this number. In less than ten years, the computing speed and processing power have been improved to nearly 30 times that of the first batch of computers.
As far as word processing software we are all familiar with is concerned, from the domestic WPS OFFICE software in DOS era to the WPS OFFICE2003 series now in use, it has also experienced the development and research of DOS WPS, WPS 97, WPS 2000, WPS OFFICE, WPS OFFICE2002 and WPS OFFICE2003. The same is true of Microsoft's OFFICE series office software. Which upgraded version of the software should not be learned? Of course, there are also the registration software and economic account management software that we are currently using. From the 3.2 version of this software released by the Municipal Bureau to the currently upgraded version of 5. 1, many of our comrades have to use this software and get in touch with it. At present, an important task is to use this software to reform the way of collecting two fees, which is of great significance and far-reaching influence. We can deeply feel that every software upgrade, we have made efforts in several aspects such as "error correction", "improvement" and "addition", and every software upgrade, we are faced with a new learning process.
Through the study and experience of new application software and hardware from generation to generation, I deeply feel that the changes of computer hardware and software are really "changing with each passing day". I deeply feel that to keep up with the pace of computer development and application, we must constantly update our knowledge, and I often remind myself that we must not fall behind. And what do you mainly rely on to update your knowledge? I think we should read professional books. What is a book? Books are the language and written expression of all kinds of knowledge. As long as we are good at using "takenism", we can enjoy the fruits of these labors. Of course, what we get from books is only indirect experience, and we need to turn them into direct experience through our own practice, so as to achieve the purpose of learning, acquiring knowledge and using it for ourselves.
I mentioned the word "computer application" in the previous place. I remember reading and studying books about computer hardware and software, and constantly practicing them. What's the purpose? Because I had vaguely foreseen that computers would be popularized in our life, study, work and entertainment in order to achieve skilled application. The application of computers is very extensive, including the following aspects: 1, scientific calculation; 2. Data processing; 3. Automatic control; 4. Aided design; 5. System simulation; 6. artificial intelligence; 7. Auxiliary education; 8. Multimedia production; 9. Games and entertainment. As far as our bureau is concerned, it is obvious to all that this day has come. At present, our bureau has been equipped with 27 computers and a server, and has built a local network, a local office network and a local area network connected to the Internet. A large part of our work has been inseparable from computers and information institutions. I have a good chance. I am working in this position at present, and I have made some efforts for these jobs by using the computer knowledge I have gained from reading, studying and practicing for many years. However, as the saying goes, "People hate books", and the trend of computer application has swept through. Computer has become an indispensable working partner in our daily work. Many basic comrades and comrades who realize the importance and inevitability of computer application have been strengthening their study and catching up. I think there should be no one who doesn't know about it. From my colleagues who are now engaged in computer operation to the old leaders and colleagues who have retired to the second line, and then to the leaders of the sub-bureau, as far as I know, everyone has a strong awareness of learning computer knowledge and has a high voice. Everyone is learning and exploring in their own way to varying degrees, and their application ability and level are also improving day by day. However, a few comrades are still troubled by the level of computer entry: first, they can't type, are not familiar with keyboards, and it is difficult to interact with computers; Second, thinking about the computer operating system is too complicated and fearful, which leads to hesitation. Of course, the mouse is not an obstacle, because most comrades have used it to play games such as mine sweeping, card playing or freecell, and have done some simple operations.
As far as my learning experience is concerned, I will become a master as long as I overcome the above two points. I'm also here to reassure these comrades. In fact, we use computers every day. Take out your mobile phone and have a look. What you see on this LCD screen is a small computer operating system called WINDOWS CE, which is solidified in the mobile phone chip. Look at those keys. They are actually a small keyboard. They can also be used to input text, play games and operate mobile phones. Do we use them every day? Looking back at our computer keyboard, the standard keyboard is the 10 1 key, plus two keys of the standard mouse, one * * * is the 103 key, and there are only about 50 commonly used keys on the keyboard. You said it was difficult to master, so we can compare it. Two decks of playing cards have 108, and one deck of mahjong has 108. After arrangement and combination, it is the so-called "never different hands." Maybe a person can't catch the same hand for ten years. In the face of such complicated operations, we can all play freely, not to mention the fixed mode of the keyboard. I think, in the final analysis, it is still a matter of interest. The computer is just a tool made by human beings. As long as you are really interested in computers, you can overcome the difficulty of getting started. As long as you enter the door, you will find that this thing is actually quite fun.
