Health status of adolescents in various countries
According to the United Daily News, the height of Korean primary school students is shorter than that of China and Japan 1 ~ 2 cm, and that of middle school students is higher than that of China and Japan, but their physical strength is not as good as that of the two countries.

The results of the 2007 national physical fitness survey released by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on February 29th showed that Korean boys surpassed China at the age of 13 and Japanese students at the age of 15, with a correlation of 3-4 cm. Female 12 years old surpassed China, and 13 years old surpassed Japanese, each 2 ~ 3cm high. The tallest men and women in Korea are in their early twenties, male 175cm and female 16 1.9cm.

However, it is not as good as Chinese and Japanese teenagers in basic physical fitness tests such as 50-meter sprint, long-distance running and vertical jump. In the 50-meter dash, South Korea's score in the second half of 7 years old is 1 1 sec, Japan1sec and China 1 1 sec, which is faster than South Korea. Even compared with the record of 18-year-old male, South Korea is 8 seconds in the first half and Japan is 7 seconds in the second half.

This shows that the physical strength of Korean teenagers is lower than the previous record. Pupils' 50-meter dash is 0.4 ~ 0.7 seconds slower than that of 1989 survey, 0. 1 ~ 0.4 seconds slower than that of male high school students and 0.2 ~ 0.8 seconds slower than that of female high school students. Primary school students' long-distance running is also 40 ~ 50 seconds slower than 1992. The problem of physical decline is reflected in the fact that 1994 canceled the physical test, which led to the accusation of fundamental reform of the school physical activity curriculum.

On the other hand, adults have made a little progress compared with the past. According to the analysis, it is precisely because of the weekend work system that leisure is increased and health concerns are raised.

This survey is conducted every three years. Taking the nationals over 7 years old as a whole, the height, weight, body mass index, sit-ups, long-distance running, etc. 10 were tested on 5000 men and women sampled nationwide.
