Explain some cultural phenomena in today's society with Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism.
Confucianism: In contemporary China, without imperial power, Confucian culture has disappeared as an ideology. So Confucian culture has nothing to do with hegemonic culture. Without the support of imperial power, Confucian culture can only play a role as a culture because of its independent characteristics such as paying attention to daily life, cultivating human kindness, guiding human nature to be broad and subtle, and cultivating noble spirit. Therefore, in contemporary China, the position of Confucian culture should be regarded as the excellent traditional culture of China. As an excellent traditional culture, what can develop continuously and be accepted by the world today must be its inherent independent character. As mentioned above, these independent qualities are closely related to human nature, which stems from human inner nature, rather than external hegemonic dogma unrelated to human inner nature.

Tao: Facing the cruel reality, Taoism is deeply rooted in people's hearts and seeks a life path of self-salvation from nature. Taoism is tenaciously guarding the dignity of human spirit in an unprecedented way, tirelessly reclaiming the desert of human spirit, saving life from all the pain and disasters that cannot be eliminated, transcending the predicament of life and secular lust, and making people gain a quiet, free and holy state of mind. Both Lao Zi and Zhuangzi are hermits, but they are different from ordinary hermits. Their retirement is not only to escape the unchangeable evil reality, nor to avoid doing evil and help others, but more importantly, to seek a spiritual freedom beyond reality.

Interpretation: Buddhist philosophy contains profound wisdom. He has profound and unique views on the life of the universe, the introspection of human reason and the analysis of concepts. Engels praised Buddhists in Dialectics of Nature as an advanced stage in the development of human dialectical thinking. In the world view, Buddhism denies that there is a supreme "God" and thinks that things are in a causal network with no beginning and no end. In the outlook on life, Buddhism emphasizes the subjective consciousness and links its own liberation with the salvation of mankind. The interaction between Buddhism and China's classical philosophy promoted philosophy to put forward new propositions and methods. With its unique way of thinking and life style, it gives people new inspiration, emancipates people's minds, gets rid of Confucian dogma and pushes people's spiritual life to another new world.
