I have been a teacher for a long time, from master tutor to doctoral tutor, and it has been many years now. I don't know how many students are in front of us. The so-called "lawsuit", that is, reply, is nothing more than asking and answering. The question and answer seems simple, but the results vary from person to person. Some went smoothly and passed safely; Some people stumble and get away with it; Some people fell into the sand and didn't make it home.
If you want to successfully pass the defense, you really have to ponder the doorway of the defense. Because of the skill of asking questions, there are ingenious ways to answer questions.
I once summed up the defensive experience of some students on a trip to other places, which was called "Twelve Methods of Defense" and passed it on to all my disciples. These twelve methods are: observing words and colors; Simplify the method by deleting complexity; Foster strengths and avoid weaknesses; Stealing the beam and replacing the column; Fox-fake-tiger method; Flattery method; Ambiguity; Ask yourself and answer yourself; Self-review method; Accept the law when you are kind; Low eyebrows and pleasing eyes; Leave it to the future. They generally felt good after using it, and repeatedly asked me to write it down to benefit more students, but I had many concerns. First, these experiences may be practical for students, but they are negative for teachers, because they basically teach students how to "fool" defense members. If they are spread, the consequences will be unimaginable. Second, some methods were spontaneously created by the masses, with obvious effects, but they were not included by me. For example, when one of the judges and the teacher is in a critical situation? If you answer the phone, go to the toilet, or get addicted to smoking and leave the table, or fall asleep without feeling anything, keep answering his questions. This method is called "fishing boat" in a more professional way; For example, when you feel anxious, you can't consider tenderness. A handful of tears and a snot can win the sympathy of teachers. Let's call it "crying". Generally speaking, one is because they are partial? Are basically negative, and secondly, because they are one-sided? It is not comprehensive, so it is always difficult to be elegant. So I have been holding back from writing.
For some time, I have carefully observed, summarized, thought and refined some skills and methods of thesis defense from both positive and negative aspects. I think it is an improvement, which is more comprehensive than the previous twelve methods, at least not so one-sided. So I feel a little relieved and feel ready to write. The following are the "fourteen questions", "fourteen answers" and "twelve taboos" in the thesis defense.
Fourteen questions: 1. Excuse me; 2. ask questions; 3. ask questions; 4. ask; 5. Excuse me; 6. Problems; 7. blame; 8. rhetorical questions; 9. Cross-examination; 10. Ask questions; 1 1. Correct question 2; 12. Cross-examination; 13. trial; 14. Before torture 12 is commonly used by teachers, while the latter two are rarely used, because the times have progressed and extorting confessions by torture is prohibited by law. The questions in front are more polite, and the questions in the back are more and more serious, which can be roughly seen from the facial expression of the questioner.
Fourteen answers: 1. Sense motive, have it both ways; 2. Sing a hymn, please sell it well; 3. Avoiding the heavy is light, and avoiding the real is empty; 4. Publicize your strengths and deny yourself; 5. steal the beam and change the column; 6. Vague and muddle through; 7. pretend to be deaf and dumb, pretend to be crazy and sell silly; 8. Take advantage of people's danger and spit it out quickly; 9. Pull back from the cliff and turn back to the shore; 10. Be lenient in confession and strict in resistance; 1 1. plausibly, pass the buck; 12. Leverage differentiation and disintegration ③; 13. Cry and confess; 14. Persistence, death. Of course, if you really want to use the last method, it is two words: death!
Twelve bogeys: one bogey is too confident and arrogant; Second, avoid negligence and neglect; Three bogey regardless of weight, regardless of reality; Four taboos are hesitant, and there are countless hearts; Five taboos are concise, delaying fighters; Six bogey entanglements, melee; Seven bogey stubborn, deeper and deeper; Eight taboos are stubborn and stubborn; Nine bogey panic, incoherent; Ten taboos are aphasia, giving people a handle; Don't trap yourself and ask for trouble; Twelve bogey silence stupefied.
Some people may say that the previous questions and answers are all fourteen, so why not fourteen taboos? In fact, there are two taboos, both of which are aimed at the above question and answer. First, avoid taking the letter as true, bookishness. If you think these methods have been published in books, they are all truth, and you can rely on them to travel around the world. Second, don't be biased. Everything is divided into two parts You think you have insight into the defensive strategy, and you can rest easy. As we all know, there is a fairy outside the fairy, and there is a sky outside. Academia is like Wulin, with many experts and talented people, not to mention those academic masters and masters who have practiced for decades and have unfathomable kung fu. Can these little moves escape their eyes and compete with their magical powers and great solutions? Therefore, it is most important to advise the younger generation to study hard, make progress every day, write a good paper and prepare for the exam carefully. Moreover, I am also a firm historical materialist and believe that the wisdom of the masses is infinite. As for the above scheme, just use the camera for the selected one.
Finally, it needs to be added that the skills and methods discussed in this paper are basically applicable to all oral examinations, interviews and other occasions.
