Research Status of School of Mechanical Engineering, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology
After years of development, the scientific research work of the School of Mechanical Engineering of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology has formed four main research directions: modern design of modern vehicle parts, mechanical design and virtual manufacturing with CNC machining technology as the core, and has formed its own characteristics in precision grinding, bionic optimization design, vehicle strength and reliability design, precision measurement and intelligent control. In recent years, great progress has been made in the scientific research work of our college. During the 11th Five-Year Plan period, * * undertook 476 scientific research projects, with a research funding of 52.297 million yuan, including vertical projects 1.50 1.000 yuan. He has published 744 scientific papers, including 145 journals above Class B, 13 papers included in SCI, 50 papers included in EI, 20 academic monographs and teaching materials, and obtained 17 invention patents. In the design and manufacture of high-grade CNC grinding machines, eight major national science and technology projects have been obtained and a number of landmark achievements have been made. "Key Technology and Equipment Development of High-grade CNC Grinding Machine in Steel and Automobile Industry" won the first prize of China Machinery Industry Science and Technology, and "Grinding Technology and Series of Complete Equipment for Large and Heavy Precision Shaft Parts" won the first prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award of 20 10, which achieved good demonstration effect in the industry. The projects such as "Development and Application of Four-way Rail Straightener for Speed-up Line" and "Gyro Rotating Focused Radiotherapy Technology and Application" won the second prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award. The achievement of these achievements shows that the college is striving to build a first-class scientific research direction in China.

Rapid design technology is put forward and developed under the current market demand for product diversification and real-time performance, and it is the main research direction of the college. Rapid design technology can effectively solve the problems of product design speed and "talent shortage". Based on the reality and design process of enterprises, rapid design technology deposits design knowledge and experience of design experts into software, and realizes the integration of optimization calculation, parametric design, data management and process design based on order-based product design process, which greatly improves the speed of product development and design and improves the design quality of products. After inputting the design parameters, the rapid design system can output 3D and 2D CAD drawings, design reports, standard parts, purchased parts, processed parts, summary tables of purchased parts, process summary tables and product boms. CAD Center has developed rapid product design systems for Sany Group, Shanghai Electric Group, Shanghai Power Station Group and other enterprises, which has contributed to the development of enterprises.
