With the continuous development of modern textile technology and the improvement of people's living needs, consumers pay more and more attention to the comfort and functionality of clothing. Especially when purchasing summer clothes, functional clothes that make people feel cool, breathable, comfortable and not sticky are more and more popular and favored. Ordinary polyester (polyester fiber) fabric has good elasticity, stiffness, wrinkle resistance, shape retention, washability and durability, and is widely used in making all kinds of clothing. However, due to the poor hygroscopicity of polyester fiber itself, it has the disadvantages of sultry and sticky body feeling, easy to generate static electricity, easy to absorb dust, close-fitting and poor comfort. Therefore, it is a development trend to improve the properties of ordinary polyester fiber, and the modified polyester fiber with honeycomb micropore structure has become one of the research hotspots in the textile new material industry in recent years. Microporous modified polyester is a new type of functional fiber, and the fabric made from it has the advantages of excellent moisture absorption and perspiration, air permeability, wrinkle elasticity, static resistance and comfortable wearing. In this paper, the functional characteristics of microporous modified polyester and the development of trousers fabrics are selected as the research direction. Two patented materials "microcellular polyester fiber" and "polyester-based conductive fiber" independently developed by China Textile Research Institute Co., Ltd. are blended with wool fiber, and then combined with fiber dyeing, siro compact spinning, weaving processing, cleaning, shearing and pot steaming to develop microcellular polyester-wool blended fabric. The micro-porous polyester-wool blended fabric finally developed has the functions of moisture absorption, quick drying, ultraviolet protection, pilling resistance and antistatic, as well as the fabric style characteristics of "cotton", "wool" and "hemp", which meets the corresponding technical requirements for wearing casual pants fabrics in summer. The research results of this paper provide some theoretical basis for the performance research of microporous modified polyester, and have guiding significance for the development and application of its related products.
