Plagiarism is an infringement of copyright. According to the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Patent Law, the inventor or designer mentioned in the Patent Law refers to a person who has made creative contributions to the substantive characteristics of invention and creation.

According to the Copyright Law, "using published works of others for personal study, research or appreciation" can be done without the permission of the copyright owner, but the name of the author and the name of the work should be clearly stated, and other rights enjoyed by the copyright owner in accordance with this Law shall not be infringed.
