Goodness is not simplicity and kindness in a simple sense, but a person's inner tolerance, ideological fraternity and patience with people and things.

Doing good is an important part of China's thought and culture. Confucianism's benevolence and morality, Buddhism's devotion to all beings and Taoism's self-cultivation are all manifestations of the spirit of being kind to others. The ancients said, "The Tao gives birth to one, two, three and everything." What is the "Tao" among them, and why does it change to breed everything? I'm afraid its essence is "doing good".

Goodness comes from virtue, comes calmly, comes from ambition, and comes from "no desire". Therefore, as the old saying goes, tolerance is great, and no desire is rigid.

Time flies. In modern society, being kind to others is still a virtue, and it is still fully affirmed in both the East and the West. Our present society emphasizes "rule by law" and advocates "rule by virtue". What is "rule by virtue" is to ask people to purify their minds, be kind to others and be kind to things.

Kindness is "unworthy" for some people, because in their view, being kind to others will harm their own interests, but if everyone can be kind to others, what will our world become?

This requires us to improve our self-cultivation and cultivate our sentiments. We are kind to others, not to ask for anything. Therefore, as long as we have good thoughts in our own hearts, it is already a spiritual sublimation, and we don't have to ask others what to do.

So we are good, just to reach the other side of the soul.
