Argumentative urgency of "talking about goodness"
Being kind to others is the other side of the soul.

Su Shi and Hui Chong's plays talk about cow dung and Tathagata. From this little play, we can't judge who has cow dung in his heart and who has Tathagata in his heart. But even this little joke contains a profound philosophy: the distinction between good and evil in one's heart.

Goodness is not simplicity and kindness in a simple sense, but a person's inner tolerance, ideological fraternity and patience with people and things.

Doing good is an important part of China's thought and culture. Confucianism's benevolence and morality, Buddhism's devotion to all beings and Taoism's self-cultivation are all manifestations of the spirit of being kind to others. The ancients said, "The Tao gives birth to one, two, three and everything." What is the "Tao" among them, and why does it change to breed everything? I'm afraid its essence is "doing good".

Ji Chang hunted a doe in early spring, and was famous for his kindness, so he prospered Zhou. During the Three Kingdoms period, Zhou Yu was greedy and caught in a trap. He was lying in bed and died of resentment and depression.

Goodness comes from virtue, comes calmly, comes from ambition, and comes from "no desire". Therefore, as the old saying goes, tolerance is great, and no desire is rigid.

Sean, one of the "three outstanding heroes of early han dynasty", often went out in the early morning when he was young. When crossing the bridge, he met an old man sitting on it. When the old man saw it, he deliberately shrank his feet and his shoes fell under the bridge. Then the old man said rudely to him, "Young man, go and pick up my shoes." Sean respectfully picked up the shoes and put them on the old man. Later, Sean got a military book and became an excellent strategist. This is the famous "shoe".

If Sean didn't have the virtue of being open-minded, he wouldn't be kind to others. It is precisely because he has the grand plan of governing the country and securing the country and planning Wan Li, and has the good thoughts of helping the world and the people in his heart that he can benefit from doing good for life.

Time flies. In modern society, being kind to others is still a virtue, and it is still fully affirmed in both the East and the West. Our present society emphasizes "rule by law" and advocates "rule by virtue". What is "rule by virtue" is to ask people to purify their minds, be kind to others and be kind to things.

Kindness is "unworthy" for some people, because in their view, being kind to others will harm their own interests, but if everyone can be kind to others, what will our world become?

This requires us to improve our self-cultivation and cultivate our sentiments. We are kind to others, not to ask for anything. Therefore, as long as we have good thoughts in our own hearts, it is already a spiritual sublimation, and we don't have to ask others what to do.

So we are good, just to reach the other side of the soul.
