Can an argumentative essay have two central arguments?
A paper can have a central argument followed by two sub-arguments. Argumentative writing is to choose an argument to write and use an article to explain your point of view. The two arguments in an argumentative essay are generally two opposite arguments. If you want to write these two arguments, you are contradicting yourself. Sometimes, different viewpoints in a composition have merits, but if you want to get high marks in the exam-oriented composition, you have to choose a reasonable argument. This is not extreme.
