In order to regulate the investigation and punishment of scientific research dishonesty, and implement the spirit of "Several Opinions on Further Strengthening the Construction of Scientific Research Integrity" issued by the General Offices of the General Office of the Central Committee of the CPC and the State Council, these Rules are formulated according to the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Science and Technology Progress and the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Higher Education.
