Handicraft course is an indispensable part of art teaching in primary and secondary schools, including origami, paper-cutting, cloth sticking and clay sculpture. From kindergarten to primary and secondary schools, handicraft classes occupy a certain proportion in art classes. Nowadays, the main purpose of the handicraft class is to learn how to use various tools and materials, shape and make different forms of handmade works, express their wishes, and exercise their coordination and dexterity. In actual teaching, some teachers ignore children's understanding and aesthetic feeling of the modeling of their opponents' works, and only teach them the method of making something, without showing children the possibility of different materials or the same material showing different performances in making, which can easily lead to the manual class becoming a "labor" class. Then, how to cultivate students' practical ability and creative ability in handicraft class and how to improve students' aesthetic taste? I made some attempts in teaching.
First, create an open situation to stimulate students' creative desire.
Mr. Tao Xingzhi, an educator in China, said: "everywhere is a place of creation, every day is a time of creation, and everyone is a creator." In order to cultivate students' creative ability, we must first create an open hand-made teaching environment. In other words, don't stick to 40 minutes of classroom teaching, let education extend from in-class to out-of-class, extend the evaluation time, and create a relaxed atmosphere for students. Classroom teaching is based on real life, aiming at specific content, creating situations, stimulating students' emotions and interest in learning, and introducing topics is natural. Such as: let me feel the deepest lesson-bookmark design. Before class, I managed to collect all kinds of beautiful bookmarks in daily life (including color texture bookmarks and feather bookmarks). In class, I nailed these bookmarks with different shapes on the blackboard for everyone to visit and discuss, forming a relaxed and open atmosphere. Then tell the origin of bookmarks in the form of stories. Students' feelings naturally sublimate in this case, and they are eager to show their desire to be a bookmark. Sure enough, in the homework, the students designed bookmarks with different materials that surprised me. Some bookmarks made by classmates still have some ethnic flavor. I also encourage students to pay attention to observation and think hard after class, and then finish a creative work. In this way, students use different materials (such as leaves, cloth, melon seeds, etc.) to make various bookmarks. ) In my spare time. Although some of them are not very good-looking, they are all very creative and have few similarities. When you look at your own work, your heart is full of joy and your face is full of smiles. Facts have proved that creating a good and open learning atmosphere and environment for students can stimulate their creative desire and help cultivate their innovative consciousness.
Second, respect students' individuality and give full play to their creativity.
Children's imagination and creativity are children's psychological qualities and abilities to analyze, synthesize, process, transform and create new images through imagination. Art lies in innovation. In handicraft teaching, we should respect students' individuality, give full play to students' imagination and creativity, let students spread their imagination wings and create opportunities for students to express themselves and create freely. For example, when guiding students to produce, I ask them to set up distinct ideas, produce distinctive works, exert their imagination and cultivate their innovative ability. For example, in the first lesson of Grade Four, "The Car I Made", I first found some demonstration works with different shapes to guide students to appreciate and observe the various manifestations of the works, so that students can realize that a work can be done this way or that way, and can be done according to their own ideas. In this way, the works made by students according to their own ideas are rich and colorful, showing the students' personality characteristics. At the same time, it also commented on the exquisite works with special ideas and praised the students with innovative spirit, which greatly improved the students' interest in hand-made works. In teaching, we should respect students' individuality, give full play to students' creative ability, and make the works have distinctive personality characteristics and unique styles, so as to achieve the purpose of innovation.
Third, students begin to operate and master manual skills in practice.
Students' hands-on operation is an important link in learning manual production. Students can only find and ask questions when they operate by themselves, and teachers can help students answer questions in a targeted way. Therefore, I try to break through the limitation of classroom teaching time, change the phenomenon that teachers talk more and demonstrate more, and increase students' hands-on time. For example, in the lesson of "patch painting", I will briefly explain how to make a patch painting first, and then let the students do it themselves. Because it takes more time to cut thread cloth than to map it, it is not effective for a person to take a class. So I asked the students to divide into several groups, set up group leaders and group members to discuss and cooperate with each other, and give full play to each student's specialty: some cut, some pull, some draw, some map ... When they met with difficulties, the teacher gave them appropriate guidance. After a class, the results of collective production are presented to everyone. In teaching, let students do it themselves, give them more time, let them understand and explore, master manual skills in practice and experience the pleasure of success.
Fourth, use audio-visual means to deepen understanding and cultivate students' innovative ability.
With the progress of modern science and technology, computers, slides, projectors and other audio-visual media have entered the classroom, which not only enriches teachers' teaching methods, but also deepens students' understanding of handmade methods and skills, and on this basis, cultivates students' innovative ability. For example, in the teaching of "leaf stickers", it is difficult for students to master the production method and stimulate their interest in learning with traditional teaching methods. It is intuitive, vivid and concrete to show the works by using the physical projector and introduce the production method, which can make students deeply understand the production skills, further think about the improvement methods and cultivate their innovative ability. At the same time, it also greatly improved students' learning enthusiasm.
Fifth, reduce students' psychological pressure and enhance their initiative and enthusiasm.
Homework is one of the criteria to evaluate students' mastery of knowledge and skills and the effect of classroom teaching, but the homework (manual work) completed by students can not completely represent everything. It is most important for students to gain experience and lessons in the process of completing their homework. In hand-making, some students worry that they can't do it well and have psychological pressure. In order to reduce students' psychological burden and enhance their confidence in learning, I pay attention to creating a relaxed learning atmosphere, as long as students' works can show the characteristics of craftsmanship and let students get out of the paradoxical "old box". Art homework is an artistic creation activity. Students should be encouraged to think boldly and think deeply in a relaxed and pleasant environment, and allowed to revise it repeatedly in production, or make it in a completely different way to make "beautiful" works that conform to their own personality. In this way, students can study easily and happily, and enhance their initiative and enthusiasm in learning.
To sum up, in order to have a good primary school handicraft class, we should strive to create a good learning environment for students, respect their personalities according to their age characteristics, give full play to their imagination, and actively carry out practical activities, so as to cultivate students' innovative ability and produce more creative works.
