Scientific research achievements of Hainan University Law School
In recent years, the Institute has made many achievements in scientific research, and has successively completed the research projects of the National Social Science Fund, China Arbitration System Research, China Judicial Reform Theory and Countermeasures for Preventing Judicial Corruption, and the research projects of the Ministry of Education, China Judicial Reform Research and Judicial Independence Research. He has published Essentials of China's Civil Procedure Law, International Anti-corruption Theory and Practice (Part), Introduction to Administrative Procedure, Principles of China's Administrative Procedure Law, Introduction to Administrative Law and Administrative Procedure Law, Research on Integrity, Comparative Study of Procuratorial System, Theory and Practice of Grassroots Judicial Work, Principles and Reform of Criminal Procedure, Introduction to Japanese Civil Law, and China and Japan. At the same time, Professor Tan Bin and Professor Tan Shigui from the discipline of procedural law were also employed by the Department of Legal Education of the former Ministry of Justice, respectively editing the national unified legal textbooks Civil Procedure Law, Lawyers Law, Criminal Procedure Law (deputy editor) and Evidence Law (deputy editor). At present, college teachers are undertaking more than ten national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects. According to incomplete statistics, in recent years, college teachers have published more than 300 academic papers in important academic journals such as Legal Studies, China Law, Forum on Politics and Law, Modern Law and so on. And more than 30 achievements have won provincial and ministerial social science outstanding achievement awards. Among them, "On the Strategic Thought and Great Practice of Establishing Special Economic Zones in Deng Xiaoping" written by Professor Wang Junyan and Professor Tan Bin won the Fifth Selected Works Award of the "Five One Projects" of National Spiritual Civilization Construction in September. 1996. It is one of the two papers that universities in China won this honor, and it is also the only paper in Hainan Province that won this honor that year. The book "Research on Judicial Reform in China" and the paper "On Judicial Independence" edited by Professor Tan Shigui won the first prize and the second prize for outstanding achievements in the 4th and 3rd National Young and Middle-aged Procedure Law respectively, and the paper "Research on Judicial Institution Reform in China" won the first prize for outstanding papers on judicial reform in China.
