I recently found a new job and need to write a manuscript. In order to have more materials and write better, you need to read a lot of books.
Therefore, there is relatively little time to discipline children during this period.
One day, I was surprised to find that my children were more obedient and loved reading more than before.
After careful observation, I found that my seven-year-old son took out his extracurricular book after finishing his homework, picked up his pen and marked it with drawings.
Today, he saw my new notebook and asked me if I could give it to him. Of course I do, because I know what he wants.
Sure enough, he took a new notebook and went to record the sentences he had marked in it.
Although the handwriting is crooked, it does not affect his love of reading.
I know the children are imitating me. He found that his mother no longer mentioned him every day; I don't want a mobile phone when I watch him do his homework; I'm not asking him to read more books, but I'm following the drama myself.
Maybe, he thinks what his mother is doing now is too interesting, so he will do it.
For me, this is really a pleasant surprise.
Many times, we try our best to educate our children. But I don't know, we must first be ourselves and set a good example for our children.
The so-called "example", in which "example" is the most important and effective educational method.
In the future, I hope I can be strict with myself, be a better self, a better mother and give better guidance to my children.
