What is green logistics?
Green logistics refers to purifying the logistics environment and making full use of logistics resources while restraining the harm of logistics to the environment. It includes the whole process of green logistics operation and logistics management. From the perspective of logistics operation, it includes green transportation, green packaging and green distribution processing. From the perspective of logistics management process, it is mainly from the goal of environmental protection and resource conservation to improve the logistics system, which should consider both the greening of forward logistics links and the greening of reverse logistics systems in the supply chain. The ultimate goal of green logistics is sustainable development, and the standard to achieve this goal is the unity of economic interests, social interests and environmental interests.
