What knowledge do you need to learn in civil engineering?
Civil Engineering Major-Training Requirements:
Students majoring in civil engineering mainly study the basic theories and knowledge of engineering mechanics, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, municipal engineering, water supply and drainage engineering and water conservancy engineering, receive basic training in engineering drawing, engineering survey, computer application, professional experiment, structural design and construction practice, and have the ability to engage in planning, design, construction, management and related research of building engineering, traffic and civil engineering, water conservancy and hydropower engineering, port engineering, coastal engineering and water supply and drainage engineering.
Civil engineering major-knowledge and skills:
1. Space imagination. The function of the building itself determines its three-dimensional things, and it is a basic requirement to imagine its actual shape in the actual space through the points and lines on the plane.
2. Ability to learn and apply mechanics. Without a good mechanical foundation, it is impossible to learn civil engineering well.
3. Serious and meticulous style. Any discipline is rigorous, and so is civil engineering. No matter whether you are designing, constructing or supervising in the future, your "works" (buildings) are related to the safety of people's lives and property, so you must be careful.
4. Strong hands-on ability. Hands-on ability here refers to the ability to find and solve problems. Civil engineering is practical, focusing on implementation and operation, and will encounter various problems and difficulties in the production process, which requires solid theoretical knowledge and rich practical experience to deal with and solve problems.
5. The spirit of hard work. The construction industry itself is synonymous with hard work, and it needs the spirit of hard work to engage in this industry.
