Students of Lixin University can only apply for minor majors in Japanese, German, French and English, and their credits and grades meet the requirements of minor degrees. They can apply for writing a thesis and issue a minor bachelor's degree through defense. Double degree and minor are two different things, and double degree is only open to non-language majors in Shanghai University. The conditions for students of Lixin University to obtain minor degrees and issue certificates include:

(1) Those who have completed and obtained the credits stipulated in the teaching plan for minors' bachelor's degree with excellent results and obtained the corresponding professional degree during their studies at school may be awarded a bachelor's degree for minors and a bachelor's degree certificate for minors uniformly produced by the Shanghai Academic Degrees Committee;

(2) If you have completed and obtained the credits specified in the teaching plan of the bachelor's degree of this major during your study at school, but have not obtained the corresponding bachelor's degree of this major, your school will award you a second professional certificate;

(3) Those who have not completed the credits specified in the teaching plan of minor bachelor's degree, but have reached or exceeded the credits specified in the minor major of their school, shall be awarded a minor certificate by their school;

(4) If the minor does not meet the minimum credits stipulated by the host school, the host school will issue the Certificate of Cross-school Curriculum Achievement of Shanghai Ordinary Colleges and Universities.
