Heaven rewards diligence. No one is born with a gift.
Many people are looking for a shortcut to success, looking for "it" in public, and suddenly looking back, they find that "diligence" is one of the keys to great things.

"The roadside grass is not asked, and there are often chanting texts in the study." The ancients can still do this, and today's people should work harder.

Heaven rewards diligence. No one is born with a gift. On the road to success, there is no shortcut except diligence. In every successful person, you can see the good habit of diligence.

"Diligence is the key to success" is a common saying and a truth. Doing business, people's actions are the most fundamental factor, that is, what attitude you use to pay, and life will repay you with corresponding achievements. If you pay diligently and repay you, it will also be rich and fruitful. Therefore, in a sense, "diligence is the key to success" is not an exaggeration. Therefore, every young person should form a good habit of diligence.

Mr. Lu Xun often said in a humorous tone: "In fact, even a genius who cried for the first time at birth, like ordinary children, will never become a good poem." When others called him a genius, he said, "Where there is a genius, I spend other people's coffee time on creation."

Stupid birds fly first, but they can still take the lead, not to mention that not everyone is a "stupid bird". Diligence makes young people more powerful and can fly and rush.

Everything can only have vitality if it keeps moving forward, especially in learning. If it doesn't move forward, it means going backwards.

In this fiercely competitive society, there are many talents and too many competitors. Fast-paced life and high competition always make people feel a great pressure, which subtly urges people to make continuous progress.

Achievement is not as easy as catching a chicken with an eagle, but through hard work. If you stop one step, you will fall behind others.

Some people compare life to a trip because it is difficult and tortuous. During the journey, everyone shoulders the mission of life. Everyone should go forward until the end of his life. Life is meaningful only if you work hard.

The food on the journey is diligence. Without it, one can't go far on the journey. Even if he can go far, he is nothing. After a long journey, he still has nothing. Only by diligence can we take the road of life well and reap the glory of our cause. Therefore, successful people are not born, but work hard.

Peking University is one of the highest universities in China, and the diligent study atmosphere here should inspire young people. The learning atmosphere in Peking University is very strong, and students have developed a general style of study of studying hard. Many students get up at six in the morning, go to bed at eleven or twelve in the evening, and go to the library and teaching building to study hard for several years.

Peking University people are not only diligent in learning, but also diligent in thinking and social practice. "Worrying before the world" has always been the endless blood in Peking University people's souls, inspiring them to think about life and society and make corresponding actions and efforts for it.

Every winter and summer vacation, they never miss the opportunity to study, or stay on campus to read various books to strengthen their majors and expand their knowledge; Or actively participate in various social practice activities, travel all over the country, understand all aspects of the motherland, and have the lofty ambition of "going to heaven and entering the earth, embracing the bright moon." For example, the Midwest Development Association went to Yuanling, Hunan Province for social investigation during the winter vacation of 1997 to promote local social and economic development.

In Peking University, there are many stories about people (even ordinary students), which can benefit us a lot.

Qian Mu, a master of Chinese studies in China, is different from other thinkers and scholars of his time. He has never been to college, nor is he a scholar. He has never been abroad, nor is he a westerner; He is worse than Liang Shuming who has lived in the cultural and political center for a long time. He comes from the lowest society in China. He is a great historian who walked out of the countryside by his own efforts. In addition to teaching in primary and secondary schools, he spent all his time reading extensively, dabbling in classics, history, books and collections, and was also very fond of textual research and exegesis, and devoted his life to history. His diligence is characteristic and representative. Whether eating, taking a break or going to the toilet, he always reads books, regardless of cold and heat. In summer, in order to prevent mosquito bites, he imitated his father, soaked his feet in water and insisted on reading at night. Follow the example of the ancients who just finished reading classics and finished reading history in a soft day. Book hard-to-read books such as classics and books every morning, start reading history books at night, and read some leisure books around three o'clock in the afternoon to arrange the time scientifically. In order to improve reading efficiency and have time to think, he learned to sit still in 19 18, and he must sit still in the dormitory after 4 pm every day. He realized that the most important thing in life is to be open-minded and guilty in order to be quiet, to get rid of other thoughts and to concentrate on learning and thinking.

The linguist Professor Wang Li also had an inspiring experience.

Professor Wang Li often passes on his knowledge to the younger generation. His success comes from hard work. When he was young, he studied day and night, astronomy and geography, classical history and extensive reading, which laid the foundation for later study. He studied English at the age of 24, French at the age of 27, Russian at the age of 50 and Japanese at the age of 80. This spirit enabled him to master six languages and dozens of Chinese dialects. During the Cultural Revolution, Wang Li was criticized and insisted on writing books at night. After 1976, he accelerated the research progress and insisted on working for more than 8 hours every day. It is hard work that makes Professor Wang Li knowledgeable and fruitful.

Professor Wang Li wrote more than 40 academic works in his life. Nearly 200 scientific papers with tens of millions of words (excluding translation). His research covers a wide range of fields of linguistics, whether it is grammar, phonology, vocabulary, the present situation and history of Chinese, and has achieved fruitful results. All this is achieved by hard work and study.

Wang Li is very concerned about the use of language. A lot of work has been done in the reform of Chinese characters, the standardization of Chinese and the popularization of Putonghua. He also actively led the China Teaching and Research Section to carry out the reform and innovation of language teaching courses. Ancient Chinese, edited by him, has been an irreplaceable good textbook for colleges and universities all over the country since the publication of 1964.

If Professor Wang is a genius, he can be considered a genius. But this kind of genius is not born, but learned through hard work; If this is a success, Professor Wang deserves it, and the way to success is through hard work and sweat. Only by diligence, hard work and continuous learning can we take fewer detours and twists and turns on the journey of progress and success.

Diligence is a kind of wealth, and its value far exceeds gold. Even if you have twenty-two thousand gold, if you live in an open space, you will always be poor. Only diligence is an inexhaustible source of financial resources. We should keep this in mind. Diligence can make people succeed. Smart people know that diligence can achieve great things, and stupid people, if they can also be diligent-oriented, will also be successful winners.

I remember a saying in the Bible: When God closes a window for you, he opens another window for you. You should remember that diligence is actually a good medicine to make up for your shortcomings.

Since ancient times, only diligence is the secret of invincible success. Head hanging beam, awl thorn strand; Dig the wall to borrow light; The flavor of the phoenix dance embodies the word "diligence". Young people should form the habit of diligence, and only in this way can they succeed.

Those who achieve great things understand the truth that "no pains, no gains", because spring planting and autumn harvest are the laws of nature's development and a law of doing things and achieving careers. To succeed in everything, you must go through a hard struggle. You just want to enjoy it, but you don't know how to be diligent. It is impossible to achieve anything. Only by forming the habit of hard work can we gain a lot.

A Tsinghua student summed up his successful experience and said: I was ordinary in junior high school, but I got good grades in Huajin Cup. At that time, my teacher and my parents' friends praised me. I think I should stop fooling around. I can be a good student and not let others laugh at me. So I gradually became a good student. Looking back on this experience carefully, I have nothing better than others, but I have seen some contest questions in pictorial. So higher than the average classmate, nothing else. This became my turning point.

The results of the senior high school entrance examination were not enough for me to enter the provincial key schools, but the results of the Golden Cup made me enter the provincial key high schools. Because I was worried that I wouldn't be expelled if I couldn't keep up, I studied crazily last semester, even when others were playing. I study almost all the time except some extracurricular activities. During that time, my efforts paid off and my grades quickly rose to the first place in my grade. Since then, I have learned a little easier.

Personally, I think the first semester of senior one is very important. This is because in high school and junior high school, the content and methods of learning are very different, and most people play for a summer vacation after the senior high school entrance examination, even if they reach the first year of high school, they can't enter the learning state, but a few people rely on their efforts to make their grades leap forward. After the grades are good, no matter their own requirements or the surrounding vision, you are not allowed to have obvious retrogression. As you can see, your grades have been relatively stable since the first semester of senior one. I advise students who have just entered high school not to relax, so that they can maintain a good state as soon as they enter school. If there is no previous foundation, there may not be such a turning point. After my sophomore year, I devoted myself to the preparation for the physics competition. Because I kept the fighting spirit of studying in Grade One, I paid more sweat before the game. No pains, no gains. I won the sixth place in the national physics competition, entered the national training team, and then entered the computer department of Tsinghua University.

Whatever you do, you have to pay a lot. I have a classmate whose grades are far behind, and I don't understand why she is so good at it. It was not until one day that I saw three finished physics books on her desk that I felt what the pay was. In fact, the old saying goes well, "If you are poor, you will be immune to it, and if you are up to it, you will help the world." When we are not strong enough to study hard alone, it is also the time when others are "poor". One day, if we succeed in our studies, we can use our knowledge and strength to prove ourselves and realize our ideals. Hard work is the way to achieve the goal.

When Einstein was young, once in a production class, the teacher asked everyone to make a small handicraft. In class, the teacher asked the students to take out their works and check them one by one. Einstein stopped when the teacher came to him. He picked up Einstein's small bench (not a successful work) and asked Einstein, "Is there a worse small bench in the world?"

Einstein told the teacher with a resounding answer: "Yes!"

Then, he took out a bench from his small table and said to the teacher, "This is the first one I made."

A person who is not handy can eventually become a great scientist. Unfortunately, hands are very important because of diligence.

There was an orator in ancient Greece. His eloquence is so good that every speech attracts a large audience. But when he was young, he stuttered and was often laughed at by everyone. In order to correct this shortcoming, he insists on practicing oral English every day. Sometimes I run to the top of the mountain with pebbles in my mouth to train my mouth and explore the rules of pronunciation. It was his unremitting efforts that made him get rid of his stuttering and realize his dream of becoming an orator.

It is not terrible to have your own shortcomings. What is terrible is the lack of spirit to change them. Our own shortcomings may become obstacles to our success. However, great men and celebrities can only win the crown of success after overcoming their own obstacles. Even the obstacles as big as Taihang Mountain and Prince of Wu should be dug up bit by bit with the spirit of Yugong moving mountains. If we never give up our ideals and work hard, no matter how arduous the task is, no matter how firm the mountain is, it will also be "moved away". Only by diligence, sureness and hard work can we get something tangible and succeed.

There is a story that also illustrates the truth that hard work can lead to success.

In the Qing Dynasty, there was a young man named Wang Sheng, who was the son of a big family and ranked seventh in the family. He loved Taoism since he was a child. He heard that there were many immortals learning Taoism on Laoshan Mountain, so he went to learn Taoism with his book on his back.

Wang Sheng came to a Taoist temple. In a quiet temple, an old man is meditating on a futon. I saw the old man with white hair hanging down his neck, fresh and heroic, and distinguished. Wang Sheng hurriedly kowtowed to him and talked to him. During the conversation, Wang Sheng felt that Lao Dao's words were profound and wonderful, and he must be worshipped as his teacher. The Taoist priest said, "I'm afraid you're spoiled, lazy and unable to bear hardships." Wang Sheng quickly said, "I can bear hardships." Many experienced disciples returned to the temple at night. After seeing them, Wang Sheng stayed in the temple. The next day, Wang Sheng took the axe given to him by the old man and went up the mountain to chop wood with others under the orders of Master.

After more than a month, Wang Sheng's hands and feet were ground with thick cocoons. He can't stand this hard life and secretly has the idea of going home.

Finally, another month passed, and Wang Sheng couldn't stand it, but Lao Dao didn't teach him any Taoism. He couldn't wait any longer, so he went to Lao Dao to say goodbye and said, "My disciples came from hundreds of miles away to worship you. I don't expect to learn any undead magic in this field, but can you teach me some general skills? It has been two or three months now. Every day is to go out early and go back to the mountains to cut wood. I have never suffered so much at home. " The old man smiled and said, "I told you from the beginning that you can't lose money." It's true now. I'll see you off tomorrow morning. "

When Wang Sheng heard the old man say this, he pleaded, "The disciples have worked so hard here for so many days that it is not worth asking Master to teach me some tips." The old man asked, "What skills do you want to learn?" Wang Sheng said, "Usually, no matter where Master goes, this wall can't be stopped. After learning this spell, I will be satisfied. "

The old man smiled and agreed to him, led him to a wall, taught him the secrets, then let him read the secrets himself, shouted "Go in", and then he could go out. Wang Sheng faced the wall and didn't dare to walk over. The old man said, "Try it." Wang Sheng had to walk slowly and was stopped when he reached the wall. The old man pointed out: "Don't hesitate, bow your head and rush over." When he rushed forward to the wall according to the old saying, it was really unobstructed, and his eyes were already outside the wall. Wang Sheng was so happy that he went back through the wall to thank the old man. The old man warned him: "You should cultivate yourself when you go back, or the spell will be useless." Say that finish, sent him some money, let him go back.

Wang Sheng, who claimed to be taught by the immortals of Laoshan Mountain, was complacent at home and could walk through thick walls without any obstacles. His wife didn't believe him, so according to the method he learned in Lao Dao, Wang Sheng left the wall a few feet and bowed his head and rushed over. As a result, he hit the wall and fell to the ground at once. Facing the egg-sized bag on his head and his wife's ridicule, he was ashamed and annoyed, and at the same time he could not help but scold Lao Dao for being heartless.

No pains, no gains. This is a truth that everyone knows. Without the hard work of spring, there would be no joy of autumn harvest. This is the way people do things. If you want to succeed, you must be prepared for success, keep working hard and keep moving forward until you reach the goal of success.

No pains, no gains. Only the sweat of hard work will bring the joy of success.

Youth is the time to cultivate and sow. What you are planting now is beans, and you will reap in the future. You are planting melons now, and you will reap melons in the future. You have worked hard, worked hard, and been busy with the storms of life. You will be happy in the autumn harvest season of life.
