Who is sharper? How much is his painting worth?
Sharp, 1948, from Bozhou City, Anhui Province. 1977 graduated and stayed in the Fine Arts Department of Fuyang Normal University. During the period of 1983, he studied under Mr. Fu Ershi in Jiangsu Academy of Traditional Chinese Painting, that is, he devoted himself to the study of Fu Baoshi's art and published many academic papers, including On the Beauty of Fu Baoshi's Landscape Painting, On Fu Baoshi's brushwork and On the Bowstone. It is a masterpiece of studying Fu Baoshi's landscape aesthetics and landscape techniques, which has raised the research level of Fu Baoshi to a new height and depth. Sharp made unremitting efforts in the practice of "bouldering" and copied Fu Baoshi's works, but it would be chaotic. In 2003, he was the painting director of the film Fu Baoshi, and wrote for Fu Baoshi in the play. Since 1997, he has been engaged in the study of Jiao Mo's landscape painting, giving Jiao Mo a new connotation. His works have won the essence of Fu Baoshi and have a unique style and spirit of the times. In recent years, he has interpreted Sanfeng's brushwork from the aspects of technique aesthetics, schema aesthetics, geomorphology aesthetics, philosophy and Zen Buddhism, and then combed and summarized his experience in learning Fu Baoshi's landscape painting techniques for more than 20 years, condensed and sublimated it into a very simple but extremely rich and implicit brushwork of landscape painting, and applied this method to teaching practice, which has received good teaching results. Because this teaching method directly reveals the secret of art, students without pen and ink foundation can basically master it in a short time and directly reach the wonderful landscape painting. On this basis, students can be guided to abandon the traditional painting methods, absorb the concepts of ancient and modern brush and ink, fill in the gaps, have a clear aim, sketch from life and learn from nature, so that they can achieve impressive learning results in about two years, which is well received and respected by students.
