"Shaanxi Textile and Apparel Vocational and Technical College" is a full-time public college approved by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and established by the Ministry of Education. It is also the only full-time public textile and apparel higher vocational and technical college in Shaanxi Province! Located in Xianyang, the "charming city" known as "the first imperial city in China". College was founded in 1952, covering an area of more than 300 mu. It has six modern training centers, more than 50 laboratories, practice workshops and multimedia teaching facilities, and 18 teaching, scientific research and practice bases with complete categories. There are more than 230 full-time and part-time teachers, including more than 60 full-time teachers with technical titles above associate professor. Teachers have edited, edited and published 56 kinds of teaching materials, published more than 1000 papers in journals above the provincial level and exchanged at various academic conferences, and made remarkable achievements in teaching and scientific research. The college now has five teaching departments, namely, Textile Dyeing and Chemical Department, Clothing Art Department, Automation Department, Economic and Trade Department and Physical Education and Reeducation through Labor Department, and offers six categories, namely, modern textile technology, textile inspection and trade, dyeing and finishing technology, new textile electromechanical technology, applied chemical technology, fashion design, decorative art design, sculpture art design, mechanical manufacturing and automation, maintenance and management of electromechanical equipment, applied electronic technology, international economy and trade and e-commerce. It has formed a professional group with textile and clothing specialty as the leader and art specialty as the feature, radiating electromechanical, applied chemical industry, economy and trade, etc. It has become a higher vocational and technical college with core competitive advantages and distinctive features in the western region. The college attaches great importance to students' quality education. Quality education of "Five-in-One Project" with the main content of "speaking Mandarin well, practicing calligraphy well, writing articles well, cultivating a specialty and getting a qualification certificate" and skill display competitions of more than ten competitions, such as textile product design, clothing design and production, computer operation and campus host, were held to commend professional skills and comprehensive quality. More than 20 student organizations such as literature, calligraphy and painting, and public relations have been established. At present, the college has established a nationwide employment network for graduates. We have established long-term and stable employment relations with large textile and garment, mechanical and electronic enterprises in the province, as well as Ningbo Youngor Rizhong Textile Printing and Dyeing Co., Ltd., Guangdong Yida Textile Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Sunshine Group and other well-known enterprises outside the province and internationally. The employment rate of graduates has remained stable at over 99%, and it has been awarded "Advanced Unit for Graduate Employment" by Shaanxi Provincial Government.
