What are the aluminum alloy casting processes?
Aluminum alloy casting technology includes sand casting, metal mold casting, die casting, extrusion casting and so on.

1, sand casting, casting method for producing castings in sand mold. Steel, iron and most nonferrous alloy castings can be obtained by sand casting. Because the molding materials used in sand casting are cheap and easy to obtain, and the mold is simple to manufacture, it can adapt to the single piece production, batch production and batch production of castings. For a long time, it has been a basic working procedure in foundry production.

2. Metal mold casting, also known as hard mold casting, is a casting method of pouring liquid metal into metal mold to obtain castings. The mold is made of metal and can be reused.

3. Die casting is a metal casting process, which is characterized by applying high pressure to molten metal by cavity. Mold is usually made of higher strength alloy, which is somewhat similar to injection molding.

4. Squeeze casting, also known as liquid die forging, is a method in which molten metal or semi-solid alloy is directly injected into an open mold, then the mold is closed to produce filling flow to reach the shape of the part, then high pressure is applied to plastically deform the solidified metal, and at the same time, isostatic pressure is applied to the uncured metal and solidified, and finally the part or blank is obtained.
