Different publications have different font sizes on each page (one page is called a page, usually 16), so the specified characters are also different. Besides words, characters also include punctuation marks, spaces and so on. If pictures and tables are involved in the paper, their space is also calculated according to a certain character space.

A journal has 2800 words on one page. If only one page is published, the number of words, punctuation marks and spaces must be controlled within 2800 words. If the paper contains pictures or tables with a size of 300 characters, other contents must be reduced to less than 2500 characters.

Some customers reported that my paper was a page, which was a little vague and not deep enough. It's natural. After all, it's only two or three thousand words, so it's difficult to discuss opinions thoroughly. A paper with profound thoughts, strong arguments and novel ideas needs at least two pages to unfold.
