What subject must read the history of classics?
A hundred miscellaneous notes on the classic history that must be read in ancient Chinese teaching in middle schools. Judging from the relevant data, the selection of ancient prose often plays a role in promoting the inheritance of literary models in previous dynasties. As the most representative anthology of China ancient literature in the late Qing Dynasty, Miscellaneous Notes on Classics and History has important academic value and research significance. This anthology spans a long time, from pre-Qin to Qing dynasty, and its style is both poetic and literary. The selected articles are quite rich in content, which can be used as basic reading materials in the history of literature and thought, and can also be studied from many angles such as political history, economic history and ancient cultural relics system. In the past, most of the studies on it only discussed the arrangement style and editing characteristics of the Selected Works, or explored the causes of its emergence in combination with the complex identity of its author Zeng Guofan, while relatively few in-depth studies were made on its relationship with contemporary ancient prose teaching. Therefore, on the basis of predecessors' research, this paper will discuss the compilation purpose and purpose, selection criteria and ideas of Miscellaneous Records of Classics and History, and the enlightenment to ancient Chinese teaching in contemporary middle schools. First of all, the introduction part of this paper mainly introduces the research status of the classic history of Hundred Miscellanies by predecessors, combs the research results of predecessors, and analyzes the inextricably linked text with ancient Chinese teaching in contemporary middle schools from the research of predecessors, thus putting forward the research value and significance of this paper. Secondly, starting with the background of the book Classic History and Miscellaneous Notes, this paper expounds the complexity of the era in which Zeng Guofan, the author, lived, and his ambition to study the world as a scholar-bureaucrat in troubled times.
