Wang Shumin (19 1 1-2004), whose real name is Yimin, whose real name is An Shu and whose pen name is Liren, etc. 19 1 1 was born in Wuqing county (now Tianjin), with a scholarly family. 1August, 929, admitted to Peking University College of Literature Preparatory. 1931August was promoted to the undergraduate course of history department of Peking University. Influenced by Gu Jiegang, he published a series of historical works together with Yang Xiangkui, Hu Houxuan, _ and other organizations. From 1937 to 195 1, he worked in Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Bashu and other 13 units, mainly engaged in cultural, educational, historical and geographical research, and published many papers. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), he served as a teacher in the Department of History and Geography of Tianjin Normal University in Hebei Province and a professor in the Department of History of Hebei Normal University (later the School of History and Culture of Hebei Normal University). He died in 2004.
On the basis of textual research, Wang Shumin put forward unique views on many issues of academic history in Qing Dynasty. He edited and sorted out some collections of scholars in the Qing Dynasty and wrote many papers to study the academic thoughts of scholars in the Qing Dynasty. In addition, Wang Shumin also talked about the general trend of academic development in Qing Dynasty. He believed that the academic development of Qing Dynasty was Confucian classics and historiography, and affirmed the research methods of Ganjia scholars. Wang Shumin also realistically evaluated the political and academic influence of this literary school in the late Qing Dynasty and today.
Mr. Wang Shumin can not only concentrate on reading, but also think deeply, adhere to the academic concept of "keeping the overall situation in mind and maintaining norms", and devote himself to the study of the history of Chinese historiography. After introducing the achievements represented by the Outline of the History of Chinese Historiography, he continued to conduct in-depth research on the history of historiography, with unique achievements.
Mr. Wang Shumin's process of studying, the experience of frequent changes in youth work, the hardships of middle-aged sports, and the rich academic achievements in his later years. This paper discusses Mr. Wang's profound academic contributions in China's ancient history, historiography, collation of ancient books, research on historical documents, historical theory and so on, adhering to the academic concept of "taking care of the overall situation and keeping norms".
