The development and changes of hometown after the reform and opening up are reflected in urban construction. In the past, Chengxi Street in Suichang County was a low brick bungalow with a narrow road. Usually, cars crossing the road will become crowded. After the reconstruction a few years ago, the low bungalows were replaced by six or seven-story commercial houses, and the roads were widened. Few cars can pass without obstacles. Different from the small shops in selling groceries before, the roads are lined with clothing stores, hotels and other shops. Today's West Street is already a commercial street in the county. In the past, West Street was called "Xijiaozhou". Now, at the intersection of Lianhuatan, pedestrians are rarely seen. This is a remote place. Now West Street is not only a commercial street, but also a place where citizens like to take a walk and go shopping after meals. It's been very lively all day. Passing by the bridge head of Lianhua Beach, it was a vegetable field ten or twenty years ago. Now there are not only new squares and basketball halls, but also new peasant villages, row houses and villas built in recent years, and the living standards of citizens have improved significantly. In urban planning, many areas located in the suburbs of the old county have been included in the planning of the new county, and now a brand-new new county has emerged. Just a few years ago, the county also held the "Tang Xianzu Cultural Festival". Through this cultural activity, more people have learned about Suichang, because communication will develop. Through the exchange and development of economy, trade and culture, my hometown will become more and more beautiful. Thirty years ago, Suichang was a remote county in Lishui. After the reform and opening up, Suichang has developed rapidly by giving full play to its own advantages, so that more and more people know Suichang and understand Suichang. In recent years, with the development of reform and opening up, not only has the hometown changed with each passing day, but people's thoughts have also changed. They constantly absorb new ideas and new thinking, and build their hometown with advanced ideas. In terms of cultural life, people's knowledge has been broadened, their horizons have been broadened, and the road to the city has been bumpy. At present, Suichang has not only built expressways connecting neighboring counties and cities, but also built wide avenues leading to the county, such as "Peony Pavilion Road", which not only attracted foreign investors to invest and set up factories in Suichang, but also made people's thoughts keep up with the pace of the times and better understand the connotation of the new era. Just like the 30th anniversary of the reform and opening up this year, the older generation, in order to commemorate this day, took out the meal tickets, cloth tickets and meat tickets that were still preserved at the beginning of the reform and opening up in the 1970s, as well as some comparative photos taken at that time, such as the railway station and the new railway station now under construction, which all show that people's lives have improved significantly after 30 years of reform and opening up. Now shopping, shopping malls and supermarkets have a wide range of goods, free to choose. High-rise buildings have replaced low-rise bungalows in the past, indicating that a city is developing and people's concepts are constantly improving and advancing with the times.

I believe that in the future, the development of my hometown will be faster and people's lives will be better and better.
