The so-called anti-involution is more about selling anxiety, which is nothing more than useless work done under anxiety. Anxiety is because you can't find your own direction and your own value goal. Therefore, instead of worrying about involution, it is better to improve your competitiveness and strength and find your own position. For most people, competition already exists. If you want more, you have to work harder than others. So we must first distinguish between involution and competition. Some people even put a label on the normal competition paper, calling on everyone not to work hard, not to compete, and then lie flat and touch the fish. This is what needs to be vigilant. In the case of relatively fixed social resources, individuals gain more resources through competition, which is not involution. On the other hand, if they are limited to competition and repeated competition in a fixed resource circle, and can't break through the limitation of resources and get effective promotion, it is involution.

Nowadays, involution is almost synonymous with self-denial. Its proliferation is the embodiment of people's value confusion at present: lack of confidence in work, confusion about life goals, anxiety about the uncertainty of the future, and lack of courage to face the future. Involution has also become an excuse for opportunists, conservatives and even hedonists to defend themselves. These people take success too easily, even take it for granted, and attribute all failures to external factors instead of looking at themselves.
