Taizhou dialect belongs to Taizhou in the five branches of Wu dialect, represented by Linhai dialect. It is very different from Mandarin in pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. However, Taizhou dialect has changed a lot, and even the pronunciation between counties and cities is very different.
