Improve the work efficiency of the laboratory, guide the teachers in the hospital to develop in the direction of scientific research and teaching, and gradually form a high-level academic echelon, making their own contributions to the development of the College of Food Science and Nutritional Engineering.

Third, the existing problems, deficiencies and future ideas

1. The serious shortage of resources has limited the further development of the college.

From my work in 2006, I realized that the most serious bottleneck restricting the rapid development of the college is the shortage of resources. The limited laboratory area of the college can no longer meet the requirements of the further development of the discipline, which makes the scientific research conditions of young researchers poor. Some imported talents and new young researchers have no laboratories. In addition, there is a big gap between the hardware investment of our hospital and some domestic related institutions, and there is no support and inclination for our hospital in terms of funds and policies. This situation not only makes it very difficult for us to introduce talents, but also fails to fully mobilize the enthusiasm of young researchers in our institute, which seriously hinders the development of our institute. At the same time, I hope the school will increase its support to our college in the future, fully mobilize the potential of college teachers, and strive for 2006.

2. The lack of senior professional titles seriously restricts the development of the discipline.

With the rejuvenation of teachers, the introduction of talents and the growth of young teachers, many young teachers in our college have acquired the academic ability and level of professors. However, due to the limitation of senior professional titles, some outstanding young teachers and researchers cannot be promoted to positions corresponding to their scientific research ability on time. This situation not only seriously affects the cultivation of academic talents and the construction of academic echelon, restricts the development of this discipline, but also is not conducive to building a harmonious environment for humanities research in our college.

3. There are too few graduate indicators, which limits the scientific research progress of the college.

In the first year of the 11th Five-Year Plan, our institute applied for more than 40 national "863" projects, "11th Five-Year Plan" science and technology support projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology and national natural science foundation projects. 5. Horizontal research should be strengthened.

Our hospital has a certain reputation and popularity in the field of food science at home and abroad, and many research results rank among the top in China, among which the subject of agricultural product processing and storage is a national key discipline. Our institute has strong scientific research strength, and researchers and teams have made great contributions to our scientific research work. However, compared with our brother units, most of our scientific research projects come from the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Natural Fund and the National "863" Plan. And there are few horizontal research projects and the transformation rate of scientific research results is low. Some teachers have not yet formed a service society.

6. The internal integration of disciplines needs to be strengthened, and the resource allocation is unreasonable.
