What is inferiority, conceit and self-confidence?

In other words, once upon a time there was a lilliputian country where three people lived. These three people each own an orchard. Because the terrain is good and the land is the most fertile, A's fruit trees always bear the biggest fruit. So he set himself a goal: to bear 100 million tons of fruit a month. He planted fruit trees crazily regardless of the crowded fruit trees. B owns a piece of medium-sized land, and the yield is good. But when he sees A's fruit is big and sweet, he is envious, but he feels that he can't catch up with A no matter how hard he tries, so he gives up on himself every day and has no intention to manage fruit trees. C's land is the worst, and the fruit is small and astringent, but he constantly encourages himself to improve the variety of fruit trees and carefully manage the orchard. As a result, the longer the fruit trees in Orchard A are, the lower they will be, and only the leaves will not bear fruit. B's orchard is overgrown with weeds and desolate. The orchard of C, which was originally the least optimistic, was full of fruits and full of fragrance.

The psychology of these three people is what we call conceit, inferiority and self-confidence.

Inferiority means that you can't see your own advantages and strengths, always doubt your ability and lack the courage to act. Conceit is arrogance and conceit. Self-confidence is a strong desire and performance to correctly evaluate one's ability and believe in oneself, thus showing initiative and conquering goals.

There are many reasons for the inferiority complex. Self-isolation is one of them. Poor self-education and poor ability are also important reasons. To overcome inferiority complex, we must first strengthen our own study and improve our own ability, and at the same time actively cultivate our cheerful and open personality, participate in communication more, develop and maintain a healthy and positive attitude, and gradually become confident. Conceit and self-confidence, the word difference, different realm, different results. Just like the three orchards mentioned above. If conceited people can recognize the harm, overcome complacency, treat their own advantages and disadvantages correctly, and foster strengths and avoid weaknesses, they will certainly achieve good results, because generally conceited people have a foundation in talent and ability. And confident people will become conceited if they go too far. So inferiority, conceit and self-confidence can be transformed under certain conditions.

So how do we become a confident person?

First of all, be prepared in knowledge and ability. Always "charge" yourself. Because self-confidence is not erected out of thin air, it must be based on knowledge, ability and experience.

Second, be optimistic. Life can't always be smooth sailing, and it is inevitable that you will encounter some blows and setbacks. At this time, you should keep an optimistic attitude. Don't fail, try your best to overcome these difficulties.

There are also good at communicating with others, being good at absorbing others' strengths, learning from each other's strengths and making fewer detours.

Again, down to earth. Don't get carried away when you are sure, and keep a clear head. Do things well in a planned and step-by-step manner.

Li Bai, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, said that since God has given talents, let them be used! . Look at yourself correctly, don't feel inferior, don't be conceited, have confidence in yourself and believe that you will succeed one day.

Article 2:

Perhaps it is an unwritten rule to divide the grades of our school into fast classes and slow classes, that is, to rank the total grades of students in the last academic year and "cut" the students with the worst grades into slow classes. To put it bluntly, it is the "poor class", "bad class" and "lazy bone class".

I have the honor to be the head teacher of a slow class, teaching them Chinese, ideology and morality. The reason why it is called "lucky" comes from a conversation when teachers go out to class. A asks B: After all this time, why are you still a devil? I am a person who deals with the devil. Of course, I have a devil's body. Sometimes, don't I think they are "demons"? However, after years of running-in with the students in the slow class, I have won the trust of many students in the slow class, and I am still willing to share joys and sorrows with them. Isn't this "lucky"?

Nowadays, when students are first assigned to the class, they are very uneasy: some want to change classes, some want to drop out of school, and some want to muddle along. I have taken various measures to help them eliminate their inferiority and build up their self-confidence.

First of all, we define and explain from the class name: we are Class Two, Grade Seven, that is, Class One (Ordinary). Since we are extraordinary, we are good students with many advantages. I believe that our students have many advantages that others have not discovered, so write down at least ten advantages that you have summarized yourself and communicate them in class.

Some students don't want to admit that they have advantages, and some students don't know their little things can also be regarded as advantages. So, in class, let students start to help them "find" their own advantages. The advantages of each student are written by the students themselves and posted in the classroom seriously. Students' self-confidence has been greatly improved.

Then we shift from the advantages of students to the same goal of the class: we are not in the same class, how should our students behave? Because the students are confident and want to perform better, they talk about it one after another. Under my guidance, the overall goal of the class is determined: to love the group and achieve self. Later, according to the overall goal of the class, the students' personal goals were determined.

It can be proudly said that students' self-confidence has greatly increased through the education of the above two theme class meetings and the education and standardization of students' behavior, discipline, words and deeds in daily teaching. Many students wrote in the "exchange book": It turns out that we still have so many advantages. It turns out that our class is still a good one. We should study hard and be a good student.

Things are always repeating.

Through my own observation and analysis of students' learning situation, feedback from parents and communication with other teachers, I found that the biggest problem of these students is that they are afraid of hardship and extremely selfish.

In order to explain more vividly the teaching content of "Building a good class group requires everyone's Qi Xin's cooperation" in the textbook "Ideology and Morality", I agree to lead the students on an "autumn outing" that needs a long journey to complete. Along the way, I didn't say much, but quietly observed every student's words and deeds. After going up and down the mountain, the students were thirsty for a long time without water, and finally we found a well in front of a temple. I told the students that you should put some water in the puddle in front of you as a "primer" so that the water can be squeezed out. But they just stared at the well with bottles in their hands, motionless. I have to call the roll. As soon as the water came up, the students couldn't wait, and there were many ugliness: people crowded, swearing and shouting mixed together. Some students don't care about drinking water, but take out the second bottle and the third bottle, squeezing, grabbing, hitting and cursing. I was furious and roared: you want water for shame!

At the next class meeting, I divided my thoughts into the following points to talk to my classmates about my feelings about this autumn outing:

I advise you not to feel inferior, and often use inspiring words and actions to enhance your self-confidence; You have found your own strengths, been encouraged and strengthened your confidence; Now, you think you are great, and now you are conceited.

I listed the following phenomena:

In the process of autumn outing, I heard more students cursing, shouting tired, complaining about others, seeing more people who only eat and do nothing, seeing more people who only care about themselves and ignore others, and seeing more people who are listening to the teacher in class now.

I am in a hurry.

…………

In the process of teaching, I often say this sentence: If I am a child, if it is my child. My children are as old as them. To them, I am a teacher, and to my children, I am also a parent.

If I am a child, I sincerely hope that my teachers will pay attention to me and like me, and I sincerely hope that my parents will encourage me and help me. So I try to find a suitable starting point to express that I like them, and I am willing to help them to change parents' attitude towards students through the "communication book".

If it is my child, I sincerely hope that the teacher can often have heart-to-heart talks and exchanges with parents, and I sincerely hope that the teacher can pay attention to the child's every bit. So I communicate with parents, students and teachers three times a day, convey the expectations and encouragement of teachers and parents to students and children in writing, and give students the right to express their wishes.

I am in a hurry. …………

Is it because of my appreciation of them that they have an illusion, which leads to conceit?

How to master this "degree"?

Beat them again, or return to the situation of judging by scores?

To be or not to be, to persist or to give up?

Since I am "lucky" to bring this class of students, I will always be confident and never feel inferior. I never wanted to be conceited.
