The Department of Financial Management of Central University of Finance and Economics was established in June 2009. Teachers 10, including 9 doctors, 3 professors, 7 associate professors and 5 teachers with overseas study background. The research fields of the Department of Financial Management mainly focus on government budget management, government procurement management, asset evaluation, government accounting and so on. Courses offered mainly include: government budget management, government procurement management, public debt management, government and non-profit organization accounting, asset evaluation, enterprise value evaluation, intangible assets evaluation, comprehensive simulation of financial business, etc. Lecturers cover doctor, master, undergraduate and specialist levels.

Teachers in the Department of Financial Management have published more than 60 academic papers, 8 academic monographs and translations, and presided over more than 0 scientific research projects 10 by the state, ministries and commissions. A number of scientific research achievements have filled the gap in the field of financial theory research in China. He has published more than 40 papers in the fields of finance and trade economy, financial research, tax research, reform, economic theory and economic management.

The establishment of the Department of Assets Appraisal relies on the Institute of Assets Appraisal of the Central University of Finance and Economics. At present, there are 9 professional teachers, including 2 professors, 3 associate professors and 4 lecturers, and 8 teachers with doctoral degrees from Central University of Finance and Economics, Xi Jiaotong University, China Renmin University, Xiamen University and Tsinghua University. The academic leader is Professor Liu Yuping, the current department head is Professor Qiao Zhimin, and the deputy director is Associate Professor Wang Xiaorong.

The Department of Assets Appraisal has established practice bases in many powerful appraisal institutions in China, and hired more than 20 senior experts in the appraisal industry such as Liu Ping, Wang Zilin and Yang Zhiming as graduate tutors.

The Department of Asset Appraisal now enrolls about 40 undergraduates majoring in asset appraisal, about 50 postgraduates majoring in asset appraisal and 2-3 doctoral students majoring in financial asset appraisal.
