What effect does NMET's low English score have on middle school students?
Every year, the college entrance examination is a hot topic, or discussing the "No.1 scholar" who studies hard in the cold window, or discussing that the undergraduate admission rate is about 40%, or arguing about the advantages and disadvantages of the new college entrance examination reform, all of which arouse parents' relish.

However, there is a topic that has wronged many parents for too long, that is, whether foreign languages should be the main subject of the college entrance examination and whether the full score of 150 is too high. Now, finally someone is shouting for their parents. Yan Qingming, deputy to the National People's Congress, suggested that college entrance examination language's score should be reduced to 100.

Dai Qingming, a deputy to the National People's Congress, made it clear in an interview: "It is suggested to reduce the score of the college entrance examination language from 150 to 100".

As a middle school principal, Duo Qingming is well aware of the difficulties that foreign languages bring to students' learning. In order to learn English well, many students recite a lot of words and grammar, which wastes too much time in foreign language subjects and affects the study of other subjects, so that many students are biased, especially in places with backward economy and education.

And the final result is just to get a high score in the college entrance examination, get a high score and go to a university. In four years, many students returned their English to their teachers.

Why is this happening?

Because most of our students are "dumb" in learning foreign languages, most students will not use foreign languages in their environment and employment planning. It can be said that a foreign language "takes too much time and is of little use", which has won the sympathy and support of many parents and students.

It is true that it took ten years to learn a foreign language, but what you can learn is a "dumb" foreign language. The result of learning is only for exam-oriented education, especially for the use of foreign languages. Most people can't use foreign languages, so Yan Qingming proposed to reduce the Chinese score in the college entrance examination to 100, which naturally won everyone's support.

Personally, I am in favor of De Qingming's suggestion to reduce the score of Chinese in the college entrance examination to 100.

Although my foreign language performance has been very good from junior high school to senior high school and even to university, my English score in the college entrance examination is 125, and I passed CET-4 and CET-6 once and got about 460 points. The college entrance examination language refers not only to foreign languages, but also to other languages such as Japanese.

As a matter of fact, I didn't take the postgraduate entrance examination, so I went to work directly after graduation, and I couldn't use English at all. Moreover, although my English score is very high, my English is completely "dumb", I know words but I can't understand them, and it's not easy to talk to foreigners. After working for three or four years, I returned it to the teacher like most people.

But we need to know how many days and nights I have struggled for this in order to get high marks. I remember in high school, self-study every morning was memorizing words. After breakfast, I go to class or recite words. After studying at night, I went back to the dormitory and read the words again before going to bed. It's really hard.

Therefore, I agree with Mr. De Qingming's suggestion to lower the Chinese score in the college entrance examination to 100 for two reasons.

First, lowering foreign language scores does not mean that it is unimportant. Students should learn foreign languages according to their own interests.

For example, students have a strong language talent and are determined to be diplomats from an early age. Of course, they pay attention to learning spoken foreign languages. For example, students have plans to go abroad in the future, and of course they can't give up learning foreign languages.

Moreover, in order to keep up with the international pace, we must learn a foreign language, which is beyond doubt, but don't give it too high a score. If the score is too high, students will spend a lot of time and increase their burden, which will make people feel that a foreign language is a bit "stealing the limelight".

The second point is that foreign languages are of little practical use. "Too much time is useless" is a perfect interpretation.

Think about it, how many graduates use foreign languages in their work? Think about it, how many people around us use foreign languages?

In the domestic environment, a foreign language is not very practical, but it is not practical at all to be unable to speak a foreign language. In some high-end technologies or papers, foreign languages are more useful. In some international trade transactions or tourism, there are many places where foreign languages can be used. Therefore, people who love to do what they like are really important. Therefore, starting from reality, college entrance examination language's score should also be lowered.

The implementation of the "3+ 1+2" model of the new college entrance examination has broken the traditional situation of separating arts and sciences, making more students more selective and active in their studies.

Considering the actual situation of infrastructure and study, it is really necessary to reduce the proportion of foreign languages in the college entrance examination. I have some suggestions here.

The first point is to reduce foreign language scores and offer courses with interesting styles, such as basketball, football, music and calligraphy, so that students can have more interesting choices and enrich their study life.

The second point is to reduce the proportion of foreign languages and increase cultural courses, such as The Book of Songs, The Analects of Confucius and other courses with China culture, so as to spread China culture and enhance Chinese people's love for traditional culture.

Thirdly, cultivating foreign languages as an interest in primary school and arranging English as a subject in college entrance examination can not only reduce the learning burden, but also help students who like English to develop, killing two birds with one stone.

Of course, the proposal put forward by Dai Qingming, a representative of the National People's Congress (NPC), to reduce the Chinese score of the college entrance examination to 100 is a topic of different opinions. I'm just saying my opinion, right or wrong. Welcome to leave a message.
