Educational periodicals are also called teaching periodicals, research periodicals, work periodicals or teachers' periodicals. (1) Educational cases and educational narratives are interlinked in essence.

From the perspective of "situation story", educational narrative research is also an "educational case". Only "educational cases" refer to those teaching narratives that have typical significance, contain difficult problems, are described from multiple angles, and have been studied and reflected by the author. Therefore, it can be considered that educational cases are the development and extension of educational narratives, and daily educational narratives can be accumulated as materials for writing educational cases.
(2) Educational cases are different from educational narratives in text structure.
1. Educational cases usually consist of educational narrative, case analysis, problem discussion and reflection, and educational narrative is mainly the educational narrative part of the case.
2. In terms of text elements, educational cases highlight six elements: theme, background, case problems and events, effect, interpretation and research, and issues to be discussed. 3. Educational narrative research reports don't necessarily have topics such as cases, just questions. It usually has only one typical educational event. 4. General educational narrative research reports only need reflection, and educational cases often need to extract "precautions" on the basis of reflection (case analysis).
(C) differences between educational cases and other research results in classroom teaching
