Desulfurization can be roughly divided into wet method and dry method. In principle, wet method is to separate and enrich sulfide from crude gas with liquid, and then oxidize it into elemental sulfur and sulfuric acid. The process requirements are mainly to optimize the process from the aspects of equipment corrosion and reducing energy consumption.

Dry method mainly depends on the adsorption capacity of adsorbent, and uses desulfurizer and adsorbent to remove impurities.
