Brief introduction of traditional Chinese medicine
Chinese medicine practitioners refer to those who have the license and the grade of "medical practitioners" and are actually engaged in medical treatment, prevention and health care, excluding those who are actually engaged in management. Medical practitioners should have good professional ethics and medical practice level, carry forward the humanitarian spirit, and perform the sacred duties of preventing and treating diseases, saving lives and protecting people's health. The whole society should respect doctors. Doctors perform their duties according to law and are protected by law. Considering the historical position of multi-level medical education and multi-structure doctor titles in China, as well as the actual situation of Chinese medicine and other traditional medicine in China, TCM doctors implement hierarchical and classified management.

1, classification: The qualification examination for Chinese medicine doctors is divided into two levels: practicing doctors and practicing assistant doctors. The difference is that the practice scope of licensed assistant doctors is limited to some extent, and they can only practice under the guidance of licensed doctors and cannot practice independently. However, practicing assistant doctors working in township medical and health institutions can independently engage in general medical activities according to medical conditions and needs.

2. Classification: The qualification examination of Chinese medicine doctors is divided into three categories: Chinese medicine, integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine and ethnic medicine. At present, there are three ethnic medicine majors: Tibetan medicine, Mongolian medicine and Uygur medicine.

The reference personnel for the qualification examination of TCM doctors are complex and have many categories, including 18 * *. The Ministry of Health is in charge of the work of doctors throughout the country, and the administrative departments of health and traditional Chinese medicine at or above the county level are responsible for the management of the work of doctors within their respective administrative areas. The Ministry of Health, state administration of traditional chinese medicine, the Ministry of Health of the General Logistics Department of the People's Liberation Army, and the National Family Planning Commission jointly set up the Physician Qualification Examination Committee of the Ministry of Health, which is responsible for the national physician qualification examination, and studied and formulated four types of physician qualification examination policies; State administration of traditional chinese medicine is responsible for the specific work and practical operation of the qualification examination for Chinese medicine doctors.
