Health hazards of drinking fountains 1. Scaling: Water dispensers are prone to scaling, especially in areas with high water hardness. Most white sediments are carbonates. However, the existence of these substances affects the heat exchange efficiency, which will bring security risks when scaling is serious. Therefore, the water dispenser should be cleaned in time. 2. "Thousands of boiling water": This formulation is unscientific. The heating temperature of drinking fountains is generally 85℃ "95℃", which does not reach the boiling point. But long-term heating will affect the activity of water. The longer the heating time, the worse the activity of water, commonly known as "aged water" Therefore, when you don't drink water for a long time, you should turn off the power supply, in addition to saving electricity, you can also avoid the loss of water activities. 3. The water dispenser contains nitrite: because the water contains nitrate nitrogen, when the microbial pollution of the water dispenser is serious, the nitrate nitrogen will be converted into nitrite nitrogen. WHO drinking water directive stipulates that methemoglobinemia will occur when the methemoglobin index exceeds 3 mg/L in a short time. But there is not enough evidence to show that nitrite is directly related to cancer. 4. Bacteria: Many people are worried that the bacteria in drinking water in drinking fountains exceed the standard. In fact, when the water temperature in the water dispenser exceeds 60℃, ordinary microorganisms can be killed; When the temperature is higher than 80℃, 10"20 minutes can kill Bacillus. 5. The material of the heating liner leads to the precipitation of harmful substances: the material used in most regular enterprises to produce the heating liner is stainless steel, which meets the relevant national hygiene standards. The heat-resistant temperature of stainless steel is much higher than that of boiling water, so there will be no harmful substances precipitated. However, some fake and shoddy products use unsanitary materials. After soaking in hot water, harmful substances can be dissolved out, which is harmful to the body. Use the drinking fountain correctly 1. When the new machine is used for the first time, the heating power switch can only be turned on after the hot water faucet comes out, so as to avoid dry burning of the hot pot due to lack of water and damage to the electric heating elements and insulation materials of the hot pot. 2. The installation position of the drinking fountain should consider the following points: it is more than 10cm away from the wall, which is convenient for ventilation and heat dissipation; To avoid sunlight, you should choose a clean place far away from heat sources, because at present, most water dispensers adopt the design scheme of "gas-water replacement and open drinking" to avoid providing superior breeding conditions for microbial reproduction; Avoid being close to computers, stereos or placed on luxury furniture and high-grade wooden floors, so as to avoid damaging these valuables due to broken buckets, aging and leaking fittings and seals of drinking fountains. 3. Before going out for a long time, the user must turn off the power switch of the water dispenser, which can not only save energy, but also prevent accidents such as electrical appliances catching fire. Shorten the drinking cycle of bottled water, prevent insects from sucking backwards, and reduce the secondary pollution of the water dispenser. In the process of changing water, dust, bacteria in the air, even flying insects and the water inlet of the water dispenser are exposed, which is easy to cause secondary pollution; When the drinking fountain is stopped for a period of time or under the condition of high temperature and humidity, it is more likely to cause secondary pollution of water quality. Therefore, when using the water dispenser, shortening the drinking cycle of each barrel of water is also beneficial to drinking health, and the drinking cycle should generally be controlled at about four days. Cleaning steps of water dispenser Clean the water dispenser 1) Cut off the power supply of the water dispenser. 2) Remove the 5 gallon bucket from the water dispenser. 3) Unscrew the intelligent seat. 4) Inject the disinfectant or disinfectant tablet solution into the bucket of the water dispenser (note: some disinfectants have smart covers, so it is not necessary to go through steps 3 and 4, just screw the smart covers on the bottle mouth of the disinfectant and insert them backwards on the smart seat) 5) Turn on the hot and cold faucets at the same time, and release about 500ml of water respectively, so that the disinfectant can completely flow into the machine, and then turn off the hot and cold faucets. 6) 10 minutes later, unscrew the two drain valves on the back of the machine to discharge the internal disinfectant. 7) Tighten the drain valve. 8) Put the bucket back on the water dispenser, turn on the hot and cold taps, and let out 500ml of water each. 9) Disinfection operation is completed. If the cold and hot water tanks of barreled drinking fountains are not cleaned for three months, bacteria and viruses will multiply in large numbers, and residues, heavy metals and even red worms will be precipitated, which will seriously endanger people's health. After a long time, various foreign bodies will appear in the water. Therefore, the water dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected regularly. At present, the commonly used method is to clean with disinfectant, and then flush the water dispenser with clean bottled water until the disinfectant residue is washed away. Generally, it is cleaned once every six months.
