Education and Scientific Research in Li Wenjuan
Main courses: developmental biology, histology and embryology, microbiology and human health. The research fields mainly involve cell molecular biology, aquatic molecular genetics, bioinformatics and so on. At present, the research direction is: cell culture of mantle of Hyriopsis cumingii and cytology-assisted pearl culture. In this paper, two national patents and several national, provincial and school-level projects were obtained through the primary culture of Hyriopsis cumingii mantle cells and the study of pearl formation mechanism, and they were applied to pearl cultivation practice.
