1. First open the word document where you want to insert the page number, and then look for "Insert" on the menu bar of the document.
2. Click Insert, and then find Page Number on the insert submenu.
3. As can be seen from the page number, the next level menu can be decomposed, and there are many page number formats for this level menu.
4. Select the required page number format in the drop-down menu, and then click (taking the middle of the footer as an example).
5. After clicking Insert, you will see the page number appear at the bottom of the document. There is an option to edit the page number, which can be operated according to your own needs.
