Word how to set the header and footer, how to set different headers on different pages, and then how to set the number of pages in the footer (excluding the first page and table of contents).
Different settings of the title

1, open your document and look for the insert tool in the toolbar.

2. Insert the header. You can find the header and footer under the Tools menu. Click this button to insert the title into our article. But after being inserted here, all the headers and footers are the same. If you change places, everything will change.

3. Set Home Page and Parity Page

Click the chapter button at the top of the toolbar, and then you can see the header and footer at the bottom of the toolbar, but this front home page will have a different selection button, you can choose directly in it, or you can click the four-box small button in the lower right corner to set it there, as shown in the figure.

4. The basic settings of the title

After entering, you can clearly see the different settings of the page and display the horizontal line settings of the header. If you want your title to have a horizontal line, select it.

5. Enter the title text

At this time, we can input the content of the header according to the content of the article. First, it is the title text of the home page. Here I use the title of the home page directly.

6, odd page header text

The next page is the header setting of odd pages. Enter the text you want to enter here. I set the head to 1.

7. Even headers

The next page is the header setting of even pages, where I entered header 2. At this point, the header setting of the first page and the header setting of the odd-even page are completed.
