Minjiang College was officially approved by the Ministry of Education in 2002. It was formed by the merger of the former Fuzhou Normal College (founded in 1958) and Minjiang Vocational College (founded in 1984). The college has 16 departments, including Chinese, foreign languages, mathematics, physics and electronic information engineering, automobiles, computers, tourism, management, clothing and art engineering, art, geography, chemistry, history, law, economy and finance, and music. As well as Adult Education College, Ai En Normal University College, Software College and Fuzhou Fashion Institute. There are 34 undergraduate majors and 38 specialist majors, covering 7 disciplines, including literature, science, engineering, management, economics, history and law. Those who meet the graduation requirements and meet the requirements of the academic degree regulations after graduation may be awarded a bachelor's degree in law.
