Abstract: With the advent of the network era, the problem of network moral education arises at the historic moment. At present, there are many problems in middle school students' network moral education. We educators must pay attention to exploring the causes of these problems and strengthen and improve the network moral education of middle school students.

First, the main reasons for network moral problems

? (A) the diversity of the network environment produces moral imbalance. Network information has the characteristics of multi-level and diversification. Some information deviates from the mainstream ideology and advocated value orientation in China, which has a negative impact on the ideological and moral concepts of Chinese teenagers. For middle school students who often surf the Internet, frequent contact with various moral evaluation standards will lead to confusion in moral choice, disorder in value orientation, inability to judge right and wrong, decline in moral choice ability, easy deviation in behavior and increase in immoral behavior.

? (B) Middle school students lack the ability to resist the temptation of bad information. The trans-regional characteristics of network information have broken the shackles of social system and ideology between the original countries and regions. There is still a big gap between China and the West in network technology. The unequal information flow and direction make some western developed countries use the monopoly advantage of information materials to spread their ideology and cultural beliefs everywhere. Middle school students are weak in distinguishing right from wrong, self-control and choice, and easily become the target of bad information unconsciously.

? (3) School education does not attach importance to network moral education. As far as the present situation of school moral education in China is concerned, moral education is facing some problems, such as too high a goal, being divorced from reality, etc., moral education approaches have not formed an effective joint force, a feasible moral education evaluation mechanism has not been established, an overall moral education outline has not been formed, and online moral education has not yet been mentioned in the agenda of school education.

Second, the status quo of youth network moral education

(A) the network environment has contributed to the egoism of middle school students. The netizen is his own master, and he decides what to do and how to do it, which greatly mobilizes his autonomy and good self-confidence. However, the network is also a place where egoism is rampant, and all the behaviors of netizens are for the satisfaction and realization of self-interests, wishes and goals. Middle school students are in a period of very strong self-awareness, eager to pursue independent personality and establish self-worth. The network just provides such a space.

? (B) the network environment weakened the ideological and moral of middle school students. On the Internet, all kinds of information are vast, and obscenity, pornography, violence, reaction and other information are inevitable. Middle school students will have ideological variation in a subtle way, leading to the weakening of the original socialist moral consciousness. Middle school students are in an immature period of psychology and behavior, and their self-discipline and self-control ability are poor. If they are too addicted to the network society and even blindly pursue absolute freedom and democracy, their sense of moral responsibility may be diluted.
