Want a paper on entrepreneurship
Generally speaking, mold enterprises are small and medium-sized enterprises, and most of them grow up from workshop-style enterprises. Even now, many mold enterprises are workshop-style management, and there are many problems in the control of mold delivery date, cost and quality. In the face of fierce market competition and backward management methods and levels, the management and technical personnel in mold enterprises are only on the run, and the CAD/CAM system and high-grade CNC machining equipment imported by the enterprise with huge investment are also difficult to play their due efficiency and level, and the enterprise lacks vitality and competitiveness. These problems have attracted the attention of many mold enterprise managers who are interested in keeping up with the international advanced level. How to improve the management level and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises has become an urgent issue for China mold manufacturing industry to participate in the international market competition.

Therefore, without advanced management system to realize management informatization, it is difficult for mold manufacturing enterprises to improve their management level and have the ability of rapid response and timely adjustment. It is an effective way to improve the management level of mold manufacturing enterprises by realizing integrated management through information construction.

This paper discusses and analyzes the importance and necessity of informatization to improve the management level of mould enterprises through the actual cases of mould enterprises, and gives an informatization solution based on the specialized mould enterprise management system IM3 (Intemould Manufacturing) developed by Shenzhen Weibo Technology Development Co., Ltd.

First, informatization is a bridge for information exchange and communication between enterprises and customers.

Mould is a typical one-to-one production industry, and every order must be communicated with customers in detail in business and technology, otherwise the consequences will be serious. The following are two examples of insufficient information communication between mold enterprises and customers:

Case 1. A large mold factory accepted a mold order from a new Japanese customer. After Japanese customers used to place orders, they communicated with the designers of the mold factory in detail and put forward detailed design requirements for the mold. The mold factory can design according to this requirement, and there is no need to confirm the design drawings. However, after completing the design, the designers of the mold factory still followed the habit of taking orders from American customers in the past, waiting for customers to confirm the design before ordering the mold base and materials. They waited 10 days before they realized that the customer didn't need to confirm the drawings. As a result, the mold group was delayed by 10 days, and the customer was very dissatisfied. Since then, he stopped placing orders, so he lost a very potential customer.

Case 2. A mold factory accepted a mold order from a new customer. This customer's injection molding factory has a set of strict production safety standards-how many rounds must be used for how many tons of molds. Due to the lack of detailed technical communication, this problem was ignored. Mold designer chose the ring according to the habit of our factory, and the result was one specification smaller than the customer's standard. Results After the mold was delivered to the customer, it was found that it did not meet the requirements, so they had to transport the mold back and rework the ring hole. The whole process cost more than 10 thousand yuan, which also affected the customer's production.

It can be seen that even a small mistake in information communication with customers and enterprises will cause huge losses to enterprises. Therefore, solving communication problems is of great significance as follows:

Try to fully understand the customer's business and technical needs at one time, and avoid repeated, thus saving money and time.

Understand the customer's mold technical requirements in detail to avoid modification and rework after mold trial.

Recording and summarizing the content of each communication, and gradually establishing a knowledge base of customer business and technical data for each customer can be shared within the company, improving customer service level and reducing mistakes.

The information management system will help mold enterprises communicate with customers better. For example, in iM3 system, a detailed mold technology exchange template is provided, which integrates the experience of many excellent mold enterprises at home and abroad and is completely in line with the international mold industry. Through this template, it is convenient to communicate with customers in detail and reduce the modification of molds. Moreover, through the communication information with the customer system, we can summarize the customer's business and technical habits and share them with relevant personnel within the company to avoid repeating the same mistakes.
