If it's the United States, kindle3 suggests 3G, you can buy books on Amazon, and Taobao has official website, which is cheaper. It is more convenient to read it in Chinese. You can watch it directly in txt and epub (just watch it), but some native functions are gone. Chinese localization native system is more troublesome. It is in mobi and pdf formats and can be displayed horizontally. Word (with table of contents) can be pushed directly to Amazon and converted into a special format.
Nook2 is new, with touch screen and Android system. At first, there were basically only pdf and epub (the format is perfect, but it needs to be adjusted when reading Chinese). If you are willing to pay attention, it is more likely than kindle3.
Reading papers, especially scanned pdf, eink is not a good solution, especially if you only want a 6-inch one. Wait and see the Amazon conference this Wednesday. The flat panel is more suitable.
