The scope of submission includes hydrology and water resources, water environment, water conservancy and hydropower engineering survey and measurement, hydraulic materials, hydraulic structures, hydraulic machinery, water conservancy and hydropower engineering construction, water conservancy management, electrical engineering and energy. Please note that this journal mainly publishes papers on water conservancy, but the papers on electricity and energy are limited.
The disciplines of electrical engineering and geotechnical engineering do not accept contributions from nuclear power, automobiles, highways and railways.
There are no more submissions about mudslides.
Do not accept undergraduate contributions; Comprehensive papers written by graduate students are not accepted.
Submission with plagiarism rate greater than 10% will be rejected directly; Or the plagiarism rate is less than 10%, but the structure of the paper is similar to that of the published paper, and it is also directly rejected.
3. When submitting a manuscript, please register at the "Author Submission" in the online office of my website first, and then remind you to contribute according to the registered page. You can log in to "Author Submission" and "Author Review" and press the reminder.
(1) Submit the version. Please use word2003 and word2007, and remember not to use word20 10 or above or other versions such as pdf! Please use the attached drawings in JPG format instead of CAD format!
(2) the format of the paper. Each log has its own format and rules. Please submit according to the format of this journal!
Please go to the download center of our college website to download the author's instructions, the format and requirements of the paper template, the description of the research object and its characteristics (we pay special attention to the description of the research object), the writing of the title, the writing and requirements of the abstract, the introduction, the writing and requirements of the project overview, the writing of the conclusion, the footnote format of our college paper, the format and examples of references.
(3) Submission quality requirements. The paper requires novel topic selection, clear organization, prominent focus, consistency, rigorous structure, clear arguments, full argumentation, concise words, clear organization, cause and effect, standardized language and strong logic, and the full text does not exceed 6000 words (including charts).
(4) Matters needing attention after submission. After successful submission, if you find a submission error and want to replace it, please open "Submit Query". If the status of submission in the pop-up page shows "New Submission", "Receipt Sent" and "Pending Approval", it can be modified by "Upload Revised Draft". If it is displayed as "under review", it cannot be replaced. If it is necessary to replace it, please send it to the editorial department of sdny@hust.edu.cn by email, and inform us by phone or "QQ Author Group of Hydropower and Energy Science", and we will replace it for you.
(5) the order of authors. In order of authors at the time of submission. After the submission, the order of authors shall not be changed, and authors shall not be added, otherwise it will be regarded as rejection (if the author rejects the manuscript, if the author has paid the publishing fee, the publishing house will refuse to refund the publishing fee because of a lot of preliminary work).
(6) The author of the communication. According to the strong demand of the majority of authors, after discussion by the editorial board of this journal, it is stipulated that from 20 17 1 (or the third issue), the correspondent should be the first person in charge of the paper, and the correspondent must have the title of intermediate or above or be a tutor for master students, while those with the title of junior or below, those without the title and students who are studying cannot be correspondent. The name of the correspondent at the time of submission shall not be changed in the future, and the change shall be regarded as rejection.
Solemnly declare: From the 3rd issue of March, 20 16, if the author's name is incorrect due to the author's reasons, we will not correct or publish the errata.
4. Time for preliminary review
After receiving the manuscript, this magazine will give the manuscript number before going to work in the morning and before leaving work in the afternoon (non-working day afternoon or the next morning), check the plagiarism rate and send a receipt; After that, the executive editor will conduct a rough review in time, and will directly return some manuscripts that do not meet the requirements of this journal, and at the same time distribute qualified manuscripts to the responsible editor of this journal (blind review will not tell the author and reviewer who the responsible editor is); After receiving the manuscript, the editor will conduct a preliminary review on the second and third days of the working day. Qualified ones will be sent to the auditor for review in time, and those that do not meet the requirements will be rejected directly.
5. The time for reviewing manuscripts by experts shall be calculated from the date of submission, and the time for reviewing manuscripts by this journal shall be controlled within 3 months. When will I know the results of the expert review? The people in the editorial department don't know! More than 95% is less than 2 months, and most of them will have results around 1 month. It can be said that this is absolutely luck, and sometimes peer reviewers give opinions on the same day, which is very rare; If you are unlucky, you have to wait for three months.
The author doesn't have to rush the editorial department often. After the editor sends the papers to the reviewers, after 10 days, the editorial system of this journal will send a letter to the experts every five days to urge them to review the papers. If the reviewer still doesn't handle it for 25 days, the editor will change the reviewer, which is equivalent to starting from scratch, greatly extending the review time.
6. Whether to hire or modify the editor will immediately decide whether to hire or modify the paper according to the opinions of the peer reviewers after receiving the opinions of the peer reviewers, and notify the author in time. Authors can check web pages to see the results.
