China Music (quarterly) is a magazine of music theory sponsored by China Conservatory of Music. Established in March 198 1. The first editor-in-chief was Li Ling, a famous music theorist and former president of China Conservatory of Music, and was successively edited by Professor An and former president Fan Zuyin. Successive deputy editors include Mr. Liang Xue, Mr. He Changlin, Mr. Chen Mingdao, Professor Guan Jianhua and Associate Professor Zhao Zhiyang. China Music is now edited by Dai, secretary of the Party Committee of the College, with Fan Zuyin as the editor and Zhao Zhiyang as the deputy editor.
