During the "Tenth Five-Year Plan" and "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" periods, 90 urban rivers with 96 sections and a length of 205 kilometers were mainly regulated by traditional measures such as sewage interception, domestic sewage treatment and sediment dredging. People are trying to intercept and receive river sewage, treat domestic sewage along the river bank and plan rivers, such as landscape design, cultural excavation, tourism development and land development, but there is no new progress in the research and application of water ecological restoration technology to improve water quality. In view of this, this paper puts forward the following ideas of river regulation from the perspective of environmental protection. (1) On the basis of adopting traditional measures to control river pollution, in order to make the river water quality meet the requirements of water functional zones, the ecological restoration measures of river aerated water body were selected to further purify the water body; (2) Strengthen the investment in the research and application of water ecological restoration technology; (3) Formulate relevant laws and regulations. For rivers in industrial parks with relatively serious pollution, we can learn from the model of "combining watershed management with regional management", requiring enterprises in relevant regions to jointly manage rivers flowing through the park with government departments on the basis of ensuring discharge standards. For example, a fixed river aeration device is installed in the upper reaches of the rivers in the park to ensure that the concentration of water pollutants flowing through the park does not increase; (4) According to the routine monitoring data of surface water in Jiaxing Environmental Protection Monitoring Station, the dissolved oxygen concentration of surface water in Jiaxing drinking water source protection area is lower than 5mg/L all the year round, which is not conducive to the purification of pollutants. Installing a river aeration device in the water source protection area can keep the river at a high dissolved oxygen level and further purify the water quality in the protection area. At the same time, the device can also be used as an effective measure to deal with sudden river pollution events (such as the deterioration of water quality in protected areas caused by heavy rain overflow) and restore the ecological environment and self-purification ability of rivers.
