However, in my opinion, these are not the most important. The real charm of Wen Xin Diao Long lies in its expression of a literary world view. It never occurred to me, but as early as 1000 years ago, Liu Xie penetrated so clearly in his works. Liu Xie's literary view regards literature as the foundation of life, and life is the foundation of universal jurisprudence. He skillfully combined the outlook on life, world and literature, and investigated the causal cycle of the three from an unprecedented height and breadth. This view has injected literary spirit into China's culture and life, specifically, it is a humanistic spirit. Literature and literary activities are an indispensable part of life and the needs of human beings. By tracing the external causes of literature, Liu Xie raised the importance of literature to the position of cosmology law, and then raised literary creation to a sacred position by revealing the internal causes of literature.
Yuwen Suoan once wrote in China Traditional Poetry and Poetics: A Word of the World: "The concept of imitation, expression and even expression will never change the subordinate position of literature, that is, literature will always be later than and second only to the original" (in terms of expression, the original is a state of mind). Liu Xie's view of literature got rid of this defect, because Liu Xie regarded literature as a necessary stage in the process of universe presentation.
