In recent years, the phenomenon that Korean academic circles write dissertations on behalf of others has become increasingly rampant. In order to eradicate this kind of behavior, the Korean government has formulated a series of programs, including requiring students who write papers to submit confirmation letters to abide by research ethics, reducing the number of student thesis guidance for each professor, prohibiting people who are punished for "writing papers" from participating in the development of national scientific research projects, and introducing a plagiarism prevention system.
